He said he needed 200 scriptures for the Shire Weapon and when we pointed out that he could have at least bought an iLevel 200 weapon, he started throwing insults at us.

Worst part about it? SilkaN pointed it out right at the start and the tank (in full alex savage gear) still charged and pulled mobs, then kinda sided with him and judged us for waiting at the start
and not helping with the mobs. I am honestly disappointed. Tank said she doesnt condone the fact he joins with such a weapon,but its better than ´doing nothing (pointing at us).
And also suggested US to leave instead then.........Just why? Why do even good players enable such behaviour? And why do WE have to leave when someone else cba to get a better weapon?

Also,this tank and that dragoon were not from the same server. highly unlikely they knew each other.

I know it is late cuz of post limits but I wanted let you know, encase this is an issue for other jobs, just pvp a bit and use the wolf marks to fill in the gaps (full i235 gear) pretty meet any causal ilevel entry with it. You also do get script and lore as well. 3-6 runs is not to bad for a 235 weapon, and lower cost for right, hands, etc.

I could have PvP'd, but I really didn't feel up to it last night. Especially since I didn't expect it to take 20 runs of A12N just to get one shaft. ;_; (And I did need Gears to trade in for the Shire weapon later on, so that helped... minus the 16 extra I have now XD) My ilvl is more than enough for Dun now just after getting a Proto body. I had the Sophia weapon that I won like forever ago and Lore accessories from MNK, so it was just left side gear I needed.

Fun thing was I actually saw enrage for A12N.
Going to be completely honest: I didn't even know there was an enrage for that fight. .___. lol I just sat there and laughed for a bit like: ....did that really just happen? ....was that really what I thought it was?

I was in Sohm Al Hard, and a WHM yelled at me for not using Garuda and using carbuncle. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow and patiently explained that there is a quest you can do at level 50 to learn the ability to glamour your Egi so they look like carbuncles. He didn't believe me, even though the tank and other DPS confirmed what I said. After looking at his character info, I could see that he hadn't leveled SMN past 35. I ended up getting a link to the quest walkthrough and posting it.

I'm not sure if he was trolling or if he really had no idea you can glamour Egi.

In his view you 3 where missing with him I am sure because he truly did not know. Did it stop after you gave proof to the quest though?

No idea, but you be shocked how many people do not dps well. A day before the 2 day maint, I belive, or was last day, my friend got a brd in expert and they did so bad despite being i270, she asked for ballad so she could make up for lost DPS (things did not die fast enough, even the first boss, she OOMed after every pull/ that first boss)

For the pvp thing, just making sure you know it is an option, some people don't know or forget about it.

It did, but he got very huffy and made some sarcastic comment. I don't mind people asking questions, but when someone is screaming at me in all caps that I'm an idiot for using carby at level 60...that's frustrating x.x

On top of this, once you unlock Garuda egi you cannot use carby anymore unless it's glamoured.

I would just summon Ruby and go "huh, wonder where this one came from"
