Maintenance woes...

What kinds of books? Anything good? I'm always on the lookout for fantasy books to dive into (though other genres are fine too).

As for me, I've been playing a ton of Heroes of the Storm lately, so I haven't been on XIV much at all anyway. I had planned to do some PVP tonight, but this thread reminded me that there's maintenance so scrap that haha. More HotS it is!

Whats sad is, we only get 1 day added to our account for the game being down 2 days.

I wonder, EU/JP accounts. Do they get the day added too? Which case doesnt make sense if NA only gets credit for one while the other gets written off as "Normal maint" in that case.

Think its only for people on NA servers since we have the longer downtime.

It is better than nothing. They do absolutely need to do this though in order to further improve the QOL of the game.

On the previous transfer it didn't make sense give a free server transfer to NA players that chosen to play in EU servers, but they got it anyway.

So this is the reason I haven't seen the, "I want my lost sub days back" threads. At least it's something. And hopefully better latency to boot.

Also ye even if there is like 2 days Maint. for Murricans it may be a good time now to try other games/other stuff. It's just sad that we had to cap/finish WT etc. way earlier than usual.

PS: My guess would be that we have another 2 days Maint. for Stormblood and that would be for everyone then.

I wanted to say it was only people with characters on Primal/Aether but then I double checked the notes.

Subscription Period Extension

Due to the maintenance accompanying the relocation, players will be unable to play for an extended period of time. As compensation, we will extend the subscription period by one day for all players who have an active subscription during the maintenance. The subscription extension for eligible accounts will be done in sequential order after the maintenance has concluded.

Service accounts with an active subscription
Service accounts that are active for the 7 days of free play via the Callback Campaign

The eligibility just indicates your active status. Nothing in regards to the server you play on.
