I think there is a limit of debuff a mob can have at any giving time, also that option sucks anyway. If you are a scholar and use it, you no longer can see the debuff of a targeted ally -_-
This is an issue with memory. Not necessarily a design decision. Dropping PS3 support will likely alleviate this problem, we will have to see.
So far, the first problem I were hit with actual armory spaces, are the weapons.
With all jobs/crafting/gathering unlocked, the weapons armory is almost filled and only a few spaces left.
Too few, because you have to use them for side quests, as anima weapon to give one example, that makes you have 2 weapons of same class and using that premium free slot today.
The 10 new spaces going to be added, 2 already are taken by the new jobs. 8 more spaces for weapon glamouring better than nothing, but well, glamour system as it is now, is the culprit of our space problems, imho.

Agreed on everything! I'll add in a couple of my own.
The ability to mail items to yourself on an alt: Even keeping with the two free retainers, just simply being able to mail stuff to alt's would be a god send to help save space. As far as mailing glamor items to yourself. A simple "account bound" flag added to common, non token bought gear is all it would take. If an item is spirit bound, it becomes account bound. Can't trade or sell it to other players, but you can mail it to an alt on your account.
My other thought and I know this is probably going to be unpopular but I honestly wouldn't mind it one bit. Scrapping the whole Normal Quality and High Quality crafting and gathering thing and just having one base item instead of two to keep on hand and clogging inventory space.

Materia: Okay sooooo, I haven't really done materia yet in 3.0 (I'm pretty much still using leveling gear so I haven't bothered yet. I'm going off 2.0 so if things did change then disregard this) Materia is a pretty common thing and as far as I know is still a one shot use deal. Which means hoarding materia for later use and clogging inventory space. How about making materia more difficult to obtain, but the trade off being making it so it can be de-socketed and reused on a new armor piece?

Assuming SE ever gets with the program and the game gets a wardrobe function. A dye catalog added to it would be lovely. Once you get a new dye. Use it once and the color gets unlocked in the wardrobe and its yours forever to use without needing to go out and get more each time you want to redye.
I've wondered too if a change to the retainer system would help cut down on the data use thus making it more easy to increase storage space. Remove retainers bank storage and marketboard selling totally and just have one regular bank system for the purpose of storage and auction house selling and leave them for venture purposes only. The retainer system has never really sat well with me anyway. That and the item bloat. Just because currently it mimics what some of the more shady FTP, BTP smaller MMO's on Steam do. Bog down the players inventory with useless or situational items for the sole purpose of getting the player to buy more, or in the case rent more storage space.

Our armory chest is 25 spaces...
Though you'll have 1 of those equipped leaving it with 2 open spaces.
This actually would apply to all armory categories to a lesser extent due to some classes/jobs being able to share some pieces.

A lot of her requests dont make much sense. You only need 1 grade of dark matter. Dumbing down crafting would make a lot of crafters i know quit. Hell, i remember when a lot of 1.0 crafters were pissed that it got dumbed down from having to make the pieces of clothing befote the item. She says you need all of the available retainers, yet i can live with 2 and be 100% comfortable with 4, and one of those is full of housing stuff becquse i haven't been able to acquire one yet. It seems to me like there is just a lot of poor inventory management going on.
The only thing she says that has merit is the glamour log, but thats been mentioned before, so its not new, and the beast tribe tokens.

It is not "dumbing down" or are you talking about the CuL comment? that is just a leftover that did not get fixed from 1.0, all crafting was like CuL in 1.0 and clearly no one quit when it was "dumbed down" to 2.0. Where are the people quitting the game because 1.0 got dumbed down taking out the +2 and +3 items out? Also no one is going to miss an ore that no one uses where all types sell for 100 gil or less. Also that list does not mean change all this, but things to think about to fix our item bloat. It also does not matter if it has been talked about before, it is time to bring it up again when they think people will be happy over +10 per Amory slot and +40 inventory. This gives us useless more space for belts and not enough slots for the left, given if you want to glam all the jobs differently and PvP.
The retainer system is from 1.0, cul is still on 1.0, why have 2.0+ if they are not going to upgrade everything? a lot of stuff no longer fits in the game that did in 1.0. If I need to RENT inventory space because i need save all these currencies to buy something 2/3/4 and at one point, 7 weeks from now, it better be cheaper and more convenient to use then we got now.
