EXP Gear and FC EXP Buffs in Palace of the Dead

I'm sorry but I don't support this idea.

Potd has proven itself to have very little competition when it comes to leveling. Before its existence, there seemed to be a balance between DF, fates and other smaller exp venues. Potd crushes them all in terms of rate.

We should be looking to increase exp gains and rates from other exp venues instead of potd

The whole drawback of PotD is that it gives you experience all at once that isn't effected by anything other than your armoury bonus. Having items affect the experience total by increasing the payout by a percentage just defeats that drawback. It's either increase EXP by a percentage (dungeons) or a huge chunk that is static (PotD), you can't have both.

I kind of agree that allowing gear experience bonuses, food bonuses, and FC action bonuses to affect PotD experience is a little overkill. Even if an individual can only play a couple hours a day, leveling is still ridiculously easy in this game.

Last night, for example, I did PotD from floor 1 all the way to 100. Took about 5-ish hours with my premade group of LS friends. My PLD started off at level 33, and now she's level 42. Just from PotD. So I think buffing that experience further would just be overkill.

I agree with ErryK. You can either have percentage based experience gain, or static, but you can't have both.

Maybe if it only help to level up faster in PotD, but don't get added to the exp outside of PotD.

But you can't use it anyway, because all gears and weapons are useless in PotD by design and lore.

Thank you everyone for your opinions. I totally understand that PotD amount of exp that gives is crazy.
All I'm saying is that these bonuses are being underused by the PotD and people only use them for first job then
almost never get used again. I feel like the developers should give them a purpose.

Removing, as drastically decreasing the amount of real class experience people get from PoTD levelsets would be a good start. All the bonuses you mention, by their nature, are added bonus for kills. They do not affect the quest exp, nor duty exp. Adding them to the PoTD experience outside of it would be a huge design difference, which would make people want them for all exp. You already level up too fast in this game. If you want them to be used just, erm, run something else than PoTD.

I would like to suggest the ability to get EXP from using gear pieces like Brand-new Ring, Friendship Circlet, the pre-order erring, or even FC experience buff.

They would help a lot of people level up their jobs fast and give the motivation to the ones who didn't start yet.

please make the exp and char lvl gaining progress in potd just temporarily - remove them if you left that strange dng. though people can try out new cls and new skills but we don't find just noobs in dailys and grp content out of it. it really pisses me of that someone is asking for buffing potd even more... people who use this way of leveling fucked up everyone else gameplay just right now and it won't get any better if SE will boost this bullshit even more... potd is just a hugh gamedesign failure... .____.
