Chinese server is putting Legacy Chocobo on cash shop

its a "oh look, spontanious gene mutation happened,this bird looks cool,lets breed some more of those and sell them" kind of lore.

Does that bird need a lore? Do the other china/korea outfits have lores attached to them?
Do you think a chinese version that sells gametime by the hour along with jump potions cares about a cash shop bird lore?

1.0 did not exist there, it has no value or meaning to them. Hence,it does not need a lore.

Well the questions out of legitimate curiosity. Considering the KR and CN games are 100% separated from our version of the game, I'm not bothered in the slightest about what they do. All mounts in the game still have descriptions - or so I'd imagine the Chinese version does, no reason to not have it. But the description of the Legacy Chocobo has some very defining descriptions in the game, so it piqued my curiosity.

I wouldnt make too much of a fuss about it tbh "Rumors say this unique bird used to be a hero's companion long time ago" or "It is said that not even a realm-shaking calamity can break the bonds between you and this loyal steed."
I dont know, I can't word it in a very sophisticated, epic way cos I no good anglish speek, but i doubt they will put much more thought into this than that.
Heck, I wouldnt even be surprised if they simply translated the text as is into chinese and be like "Not like anyone is gonna read or question this anyway"

Why dont SE just give the legacy players a new exclusive item every year that they are subbed. SE can then give away the old exclusive to regular players who have subbed for X amount of time.

ah yeah. great idea. Waste development time for a fractional amount of the current player base that still applies as 1.0 players for them to have more unique legacy items that the normal player base will never get (despite currently playing)
so the normal player base can get old legacy rewards that were never meant for us in the first place. Excellent idea. I bet this isnt gonna cause a sh*tstorm at all =D
