Bad Healer: Well you are fucked.

In some Cases a bad Tank or DPS CAN BE carried BUT with a bad Healer you are for 90% at the loosing side.

This is what I meant with my comments about healers lol. Yes it's not always the healer, but mostly it's this ^^^^

It's simply how it is with the PvP in FFXIV.

Healers are, without a doubt, the linchpin of PVP matches.

I am always looking for ways to improve - and I think I've grown considerably from Season 3 to 4. But wanting to improve doesn't just stop when you've reached a certain number of DPS or some other contribution metric. But it's really hard to keep the enthusiasm up, because like King said, when you're Gold tier and matched with Bronze teammates (not just healers), it's like tying your hands and feet, throwing you in the water and telling you to swim.

Bad players farm themselves to gold... Blame to points system for being too forgiving. What you actually want it better matchmaking and a different point system. If that actually happened though a majority of the playerbase would be stuck at silver+gold with 0 hopes of escaping.

Some gold players want to be in diamond matches a lot of the time. Those same gold players are liabilities in diamond matches. If someone is stuck at gold for days, or weeks, there is more of a reason to be stuck at gold than a bad streak of bronze healers.

I would LOVE a better matchmaking and point system. I just don't have any concrete suggestion for how they could make it work.

Most people say that, but then 90% of the community would complain that they can't get out of silver after said system is implanted. Then they would blame it on the fictitious notion of, "elo hell". It would just be another excuse people make.

The system right now is EXTREMELY nice for lower skilled players. Something that FFXIV loves doing, and honestly shouldn't belong in a competitive game-mode. The second you take away that leniency the community will erupt. Be careful what you wish for.

I was all hyped up doing PvP lately and putting the time and effort and i was just about to get in that top 100 until i got matched with a healer bronze and went from 1190 to 1004. And not only that , i am not gonna point fingers but they need to do something about those speed hackers because I'm tired of losing to people like that.

I stopped doing PvP since Friday cause all these reasons.

Well you can still try again later! Just need to devote some more time. Word of advice, if you experience bad healers, give it 2-3 matches. If it doesn't get any better, STOP. There are times when noobies play and you will just have to wait them out.

This is what I started doing. It can be frustrating losing many matches but I promise if you give it a break after 3 losses due to noobies you will not only feel alot better, meaning better performance, but also have a new time window to play in with different players.

What do you mean by speed hacker ?

To my understanding, a speed hacker is someone who is able to gain a great amount of movement speed or Spell/Skill Speed using a PC program.

Example: running at impossible speeds, or casting at impossible speeds.

There are no speed hackers on primal right now, if there are they are not spamming games... Literally no veteran players have reported any cheating. Do you have video evidence you can send me to back up this claim?

Gonna say all of the loses have one thing in common and its your in all those games. Might wanna look inwards before you blame the clericstanceless healers for you being crap at the game. God damn it idk why dps feels so entitled where they give nothing of value to anyone and expect everyone else to carry them. PvE they do nothing but if ppl wipe the blame the healer or tank, PvP same thing i think you dps should get your own queue away from the tanks and healers so we have a nice day.
