Orphan adoption

I'm 100% sure YoshiP has brought this up before and said that due to laws (In Japan in particular) about protecting children online and the presence of ERP, they dont plan to add an adoption system into the game.

Lalafell are adults. Quit playing them off as children when they friggin run an entire city (See: Lolorito)

Just because playable Lalafell are adults does not mean people do not RP them as children unfortunately. Not to sound like an elitist, but as a RP'er, I've left Free Companies where that was allowed just because I don't care for the drama that will inevitably arise when either that RP'er is revealed to have been ERP'ing on their child-character, OR, they're more the attention-seeking sort who go around making huge firestorms when someone solicits them for ERP. Yeah, its great to know who to avoid and all, but most RP'ers I've met in that situation just like the attention from being a, 'Victim.'

That said, the Warrior of Light is pretty busy, or at least scarce. Heck, we straight up vanish for at least a week of in-game time on a regular basis!

On top of the erp thing, adopting kids from a orphanage so that they can just kind of be furniture in your house would probably be seen as tasteless in Japan given the country's current issue with throwing kids in institutions http://www.aljazeera.com/programmes/...271732632.html

The Doll festival is the 'Children's day' of Japan that was implemented into XI and XIV. While it's the day meant to celebrate girls while a couple days later boys are celebrated, they just went with having one event only for both.

As long as we have people doing ERP (and lalas) i'm against everything child related.

I'm sure you're against Cars, sharp objects, large bodies of water, heights, and monsters. All of which can harm children.

This is a really poor reason to be against it. How many people would actually do this, and how likely are you to EVER be exposed to them doing it?

As someone who used to mod several chats and forums, you might be surprised at how common it is. Exposure, on the other hand, you're probably right, but I wouldn't put it past a few people.
