Something is going to be irrelevant. Either it's going to be crafters or dungeons, in this cause it's dungeons that SE picked.

What would be better if materials dropped off boss mobs to craft into awesome gear and make it even more awesome with materia, like the RNMs.

I hope artifact armor is crafted, or it has stats that are better than materia'd items.
