Anyone else not really sure what this thread is?

I don't think English is their first language so their phrasing is a little odd. But they're basically just asking for DRG's to have pets like in FF XI vs trying to be like Kain from IV.
I haven't played IV in a really long time so I'm not sure on specifics for the Kain part.
Kain is the archetypal Dragoon (to many), and XIV follows his model for what a Dragoon is and does.I don't think English is their first language so their phrasing is a little odd. But they're basically just asking for DRG's to have pets like in FF XI vs trying to be like Kain from IV.

A typical thread for this OP, that is what this thread is. Some idea not explained very well and without ever seeing an answer or further statment from the OP. My guess is that they just want to share their thoughts, not really discuss them...
Still, for everyone else... FFXIV picked the kain-dragoon not the FFXI one and thats okay. With 4 year of ARR and the whole redo after 1.0 asking for that to change seems extremly pointless...
i have writing disability mind you first off second i speak fleunt english doesn't mean my writing and grammer skill are fluent english. my writing disability cause me skip words where is in my mind i formed complete sentence but when it come put on computer they i skip word make a sentence not make any sense.
second I notice the dragoon tend died alot. seem to me for raid to be success the dragoon must died aleast 5- 10 times
Dragoons dying a lot has nothing to do with the job itself though - just with the people playing dragoon being bad at it. (My theory is that edgelords pick dragoons because they wanna be cool but dont bother to learn how to properly play them)
By now that has turned more into a running joke - one that my statics have aswell. But if you expect something to happen (like the dragoon in your party dying), you'll notice that more than a monk or ninja or bard dying.
A missconception, a running joke and people being bad at basic gameplay mechanics arent good reasons to revamp a job enterily. I'm sorry, but I dont understand what point you tried to make here?
Because currently your point seem to be "Dragoon is to complexe as a job, thats why people die" - but throwing in a pet to micromanage on top of whats already there wouldnt make the job any easier.
You say that the kain-style dragoon (I assume what you mean by that is the focus on jumps) doesnt work well in FFXIV - but I dont see any evidence on that? Dragoons are one of the jobs who can put out the most damage, while supporting bards with their debuff. They're well established in the game and raid community - how does that equal that job not working well?
I really dont want to be rude but if you make claims like that, it would be really helpful if you could back them up and try to explain what you mean by them. I'm sure everyone here can deal with you writing in broken english - dealing with broken ideas is a bit more difficult though :/
And again: If you want this job changed because you want it to be like FFXI - please, please, please realise that this is FFXIV. A different game. By a different team. With their own ideas and visions for the game. What worked in FFXI might not work here - for both gameplay and lore reasons. It is not and never will be FFXI - get over it.

I haven't seen many DRG in DF. So how are they dying alot? Their armor has more defense/resist than MNk and NIN and those classes don't die alot.
I don't need no pet to babysit.
Same story - not a dragon. Just looks like one - my personal theory here is that he turned out looking like a dragon because he was summoned using Nidhoggs (=a dragon!) eyes and that somehow influenced the shape. Ilsberd didnt seem to be... clear enough to give it an actual shape. But thats just my guess.
Still: Neither of them are living, breathing dragons. They're primals looking like dragons.
