Have a feeling it would be way too difficult for them to actually implement in the game though. Like the sash thing on the legs wouldn't work.

I'm not so sure, a few pieces like the male-only GARO caster set include similar straps and they seem ok. I think the team thought it was possible when they shortlisted it.

As for future entries, I'm happy with your design work and wouldn't know where to start with suggestions. If you like white (or any other colour on other jobs) then stick to your guns; the white robes for caster trend is only annoying when they're undyeable pieces identical to the non-white caster version anyway. For unique, dyeable sets the base colour can be anything.

Thanks for letting us see your progression till you finished the project. I like this design and would have liked it more as the winner but maybe it was too complicated for SE? They seem to choose the more simpler designs.
But still reading how much time you put into this makes me feel even sadder for all the entries that did not manage to make it to the list thanks to them choosing some of those "joke" entries.

hm, its pic upload adresses specifically for forums, yesterday directly after the post, i had to edit both posts because some pictures were not working but since then, i can see all of them on my laptop and phone. maybe you have issues with pic-upload.de?

I don't post often, but this warrants it in my opinion. I applaud the great amount of effort put into this design, and the story implications behind it. I was a big fan of Heavensward's victory lap, and the reflections of the Dragon Song war.

I'm disheartened this design was not selected, and find it more interesting and intricate than any of the others. Hoping you keep trying for future contests, and I'm sure you'll get first place if you continue!

To answer your question, as a Dragoon main I would like to see this theme designed for dragoon. The spear specifically I'd be interested to see. So far I've liked most of the dps artifact gear, and find these to be most interesting, as they're generally more traditional in their appearance than most other sets. I think that's why I liked your healer design so much. It really declares that it is healer gear, just from appearance alone.

I like any gear sets that don't allow confusion of what the class would be. If it's monk gear, I like it when it's obviously monk gear, and the class fits into the theme of it. (The new artifact gear does a good job of this.) Take your criticisms in stride and have a great weekend
