So what you are saying is they get items after we do, just as we get items of theirs after they do? And that the devs have acknowledged that we want the items so are providing them. Like I said long ago in this thread, when something comes out exclusively in china or korea, I no longer complain, rather am excited that we will get them at some point in the future, and wait patiently.

I'm really not sure where you get the idea that anyone is complaining.

Just because feedback is being offered does not mean we are complaining. Nor does offering differing opinions on why some of us don't like exclusives mean we are complaing.

As I've said before. It's not going to kill me if we don't get them, but I'd sure be happy if region exlusives weren't a thing to begin with.

The post that you originally countered was me disagreeing with the word "depravity" being used to describe the situation. This thread (at least before) really had the aura of a community that felt that not having these rewards meant that china had an advantage over us and that we were deprived by not having these rewards at the exact same time as them.

I agree with you that I love the feedback of "can we have these rewards please, they are awesome", but I hate the argument that the chinese exclusives hurt us, and our content experience in any way, that was my original point. As I said, I get excited when I see these exclusives, because I know that the devs will listen and give them to us at some point. (cloud mount etc. is currently available in Japan, and will presumably come to the west shortly after as an example).

Just because I disagree on meaning of the word used for the particular situation doesn't mean I'm complaining. I just have a differing opinion and I'm making that known.

I know you don't have time to go through all 40 pages but looking at things through the angle of 'there is no tone on the internet' (and I say that with no sarcasm) I don't feel like there have been to many of us that feel we've been robbed of anything. We've just annoyed by it, but kinda in the way you get annoyed at an insect bite. It itches now but it'll sooth over in the end.

I'm in agreement you on the idea of disfavoring the arguement of 'the rewards hurt us' they don't hurt us, not in the slightest. They are pixels at the end of the day after all. I can't speak for others but I can tell you as OP that's not my intention. I just wanna be the fly buzzing around the devs head going "So hey...hey, don't forget, when you make that new exlusive item there is still interest in it coming over."

My issue may be overblown, especially when arguing with you because there isn't really a disagreement between us, only a slight misinterpretation at most. I do see the "wtf, more china exclusives, we are entitled to those" opinion come up a lot though, and it is THOSE people that my argument is directed at. Your thread, and opinion I support however.

No worries I understand the fact that there's been a lot of exposure to one type of arguement. And it's not like this thread has been totally devoid of such posts despite the best intentions. I'm glad however, we are able to see that we're both of the same opinion. I appreciate the civil debate.

Civil debate is good, and I appreciate it. If you were curious, this is the original debate that my argument stemmed from, not the thread itself:

We're an afterthought. That alone should upset you. We were funding this game before China and Korea were. Is our patronage worth less?

I still don't consider it fair at all. It's unfortunate that those countries censor their games so harshly, but that's not our faults here in the west. Depriving others of something to make someone else feel better isn't a good practice. Even if the depriving is technically just delayed for us.

It is this kind of argument that I wholeheartedly disagree with, not yours
