Viera as the next new race~ Show your support

When did I say it was less of a discussion? Although I disagreed with them, I have engaged in conversations that cover some issues with adding viera. I think this was just ordinary discourse.

It's not really much of a discussion if you show them the door and tell them to voice their opinion in another place.

I said I wanted the viera to look similar to the concept art, not exactly the same. My initial post explains that I would be ok with human hands and feet.

But they all still wanted the Viera in the game. And most of those wanted a tall slim (normal?) Viera, which was very similar to atleast 1 of the concepts.
More than that I can't really remember. Been a long time since those threads were around now.

I think you may be blowing this out of proportion.

Anyway, I think that you may have implied that anything that might start a discussion is frowned upon by me, and that's simply not true. "Hyur with bunny ears", "expansion of customization", and "I want another race" are things I have already addressed. You have already said you do not take issue with any of those statements.

Why do people have such a hard time to notice when something is sarcastic or not? =(

That is still a discussion. I know you want to keep this thread as much on rail as possible with the support.
But it's not off topic really to show concerns on how the Viera should be implemented or if they would fit in at all.
But that's just my personal opinion and I feel kind of strong for the freedom of speech.

If you want to keep more of those kinds of posts from popping up, try editing your first post with different questions people ask and then some answers (maybe several, you know, for diversity).
That way people can easily see what's been adressed and not.
And that would strengthen the thread with why and how the Viera can look and get implemented in a good way that fits with the lore of the game.

Let people show their support by engaging in a discussion, good or bad, not just saying "yes, I want". that only makes me think about Lemmings, where everyone follow someone without really caring.

I've engaged with people who are concerned with how viera may be implemented. I've even engaged with you, although I disagree with your points. There are other users in this thread that also disagree with some of your points, and they've expressed that. I don't think you've characterized this thread accurately or fairly. Also, there's literally an anti-viera thread that already exists if anyone wants to post there. If you want another race, there's other existing threads for that, or you can make your own.

To me that felt like you showed them where the door was. This whole quote have that underline feeling that they are wrong and you want them to go elsewhere.
But we are all different, so others might not think the same I do. But like everyone, ones own feelings are true for one self.

I have not read everything that person had posted here. But the last entries of his talked about how this FF is not connected to other FF titles where Vieras exist.
I did not see him post anything about wanting another race.

I can only recall telling people to post in another thread or make a new thread if they wanted a different sort of race. If I have done otherwise, please show me a post I have made.

To give some context to the anti-viera thread; it's a thread that is anti-viera, obviously, and the OP asks forum users to discuss which races they want added. So, to rephrase that, if you want another race, you are more than welcome to post in the anti thread, and post a race you would like instead.

But he also said that he had no problems with having the Viera in the game. He sounded more concerned about how to implement them.
To me that doesn't sound like "wanting another race" or "anti Viera".
Worrying how to implement something shows that you do care.
