So they made something not very enjoyable to something even more tedious?
I guess having 280 weapons was only to get people to actually go to Diadem.

I wouldn't say it's more tedious now. You do at least have a sense of direction.

After that though, yes it's just fate grinding. As much as the old diadem was bad, I do miss one thing. It felt like you weren't alone. At least 20 others were around fighting those same damn dinosaurs with you for an hour.
Here, you're just with your party. Makes it feel kinda lonely.

As will the Alexander, Augmented Shire and Lux weapons. Hence my point. The chances of you getting these i280 weapons is stupidly rare, but SE needed something to entice people to actually do the new Diadem. What better way than something they know will "piss off" a group of people that don't stop and consider things. You know, how Wondrous Tails added in HQ gear with 5 slots- if you're ever lucky enough to get 3 lines.

I've gotten 3 lines several times so far & two lines several times more. It's not that rare. Unfortunately, I always seem to get the three/two lines when crap is on offer. >_>

Just so you know it's like 1/5000 chance per entry to get a weapon for your job (and it can have poor substats or just one), so it's extremelly likely you'll not get it before 4.0. Let's be a bit realistic here.

Did Diadem twice last night. Got my unicorn colt minion. However, there really wasn't anything fun about it so I doubt I'll go back.

Btw I cannot stand how sections are blocked and you now have to use portals to get to certain places - and then flying is disabled.

Portal doesn't appear every run. Seen only twice in 15 runs. And there's a chance to fail event. So actual percentage is much lower.

This... doesn't necessarily incentivise raiders though. Plenty have unsubbed completely because it ruined their speed killing challenges and the casual side remains frustrated their relic isn't BiS after only nine days. Couple it all with the fact FFlog had to freeze the previous tier to avoid one grouping dominating due to these weapons and this may well backfire on the devs.

Only one person in the entire 72 man gets one if you manage to clear a special fight that has a chance of occurring once per session. The weapon you get is random too.

So my chance is 1 in 72??? I like the odds of that! Much better than 1 in thousands or ten thousands even million of winning the jackpot. See the point? It isn't hard to get one lol rip Scripture weapon 270 which isn't even put in Dun Scaith yet? Don't even bother SE!
