What's your Pre-Stormblood Goals?

- catch up with the darn MSQ!

Also Top Priority:

- decent gear for SCH (ilvl 270 if possible)
- Get a gatherer (probably BTN) to 60 and get a bunch of dragonskin maps
- Get all my Hand classes to 60
- Get a pretty outfit ready for levelling RDM
- Hoard materials for outfitting RDM and SAM to make money after release

Still Pretty High Priority:
- an Ironworks Gathering Set
- ilvl 200 crafting tools, at least for my three specialist classes (WVR, LTW, ARM)

Would Be Nice:
- Finish Anabasis Lux for SCH
- Finish all the ARR Beast Tribe Quests (with WHM and BLM)

Even Topper Than Top Priority, but with a Later Deadline:
- earn 50 million gil by the time Shirogane becomes available

Hum...current goals huh...

1) Get Dark Knight to 60 (almost there)
2) Craft my IW Gathering Set
3) Upgrade all my 180 crafting tools to 200 via Red Scripts (this one will be close)
4) Get at least one Bird Mount
5) Finish my Sch Relic (working on Bard now but slow going on Lights)
6) With luck actually do Ex fights (I've only done BiS and Rav)
7) Maybe at least do A1-A4 Savage

I mentioned my goals in another "Prep for Stormblood" thread, but plans do change from time to time depending on reveals and what not. So:

Main Goals:

1: Get Augmented Poetics gear for RDM and SAM so that they have gear from the word "go", save for the weapons. (Done!)

2: Save up Poetics for the eventual Poetics Weapons for RDM and SAM before Stormblood hits.

3: Save up all other forms of currency so that I'm stocked for Stormblood.

4: Finish gearing up my Healers and 2 (current) main go to DPS jobs (MNK and SMN) to a high(ish) average item level via Tome gear, Proto Ultima accessories, Dun Scaith gear for DPS, and augmenting any tome gear. Healers take priority. My Tanks are already done, save for their relic weapons.

5: Finish fully powering up the relic weapons for my main go-to jobs. SCH is done (on patch day for i275 no less), DRK is currently in progress, and MNK and SMN are waiting next in line. With a FC friend, we aim to invoke a "Skip the cue time" strategy by agreeing to do an alt Tank and Healer job of our choice to help our DPS jobs get past the long wait times. Leaning towards WAR and AST for my alt Tank and Healer jobs respectively. As much as I love PLD and want the i270-275 PLD relic, I already have my War Lion mount, so my PLD has no reason to step out any more... for now.

Optional Side Goals: (Nothing that "needs" to be finished to me, but would be nice)

1: Get all the bird mounts.

2: Finish gearing up my NIN to give it one last moment in the spotlight among my alt-DPS roles, before SAM likely replaces NIN as my alt-melee DPS. (Though I'll end up leveling it to 70 anyway like ALL the other jobs when Stormblood hits)

3: Get either RDM or SAM to level 60 during early access so that I can go through the Stormblood story with one of them to dump story quest EXP on them. Because cue times for DPS are gonna suck, and getting in as a Tank or Healer for the dungeons will be much easier. Though I might go through the story as a MNK too.

4: Get all the music sheets I'm after.

5: Gather materials for making level 50-60 leveling gear, so that I can make respective armors for AAAALLLLLLL the people that are trying to level SAM and RDM via leveling gear instead of Poetics gear. *Dollar signs flash in eyes* "Cha-ching!" And I say that as I'm already sitting on about 150,000,000 gil.

6: Get as many of the other relics to i275 as possible.

That's all I can think of.

6) praying that specialists will still be a thing in stormblood
7) cleaning up my retainers from materials i prop will never use
8) getting all my other alts to the point that they can move around eorzea
9) stockpile materials i might need to start on leveling my crafters past lvl 60
10) stockpile crafting/gathering materia from red scrips
11) stockpile crafting/gathering buff manuals from squad missions
12) getting gil for house (check, sitting on a nice 460m)

Damn perhaps i'm a little bit ambitious

Clear out space in my inventory and retainers
Have gear ready for the new jobs.
Furnish my room in FC house.

Optional goals

Get to 3000 FATEs for that glamour piece.
Get a few more mounts.

In no specific order...

1: Level all crafters to 50 (maybe 60 if i feel the urge)
2: Raise 60+ Million for personal medium housing in Shirogane
3: Help FC raise more gil to help with decorating new Shirogane house
4: Prepare levelling gear for SAM and set up a levelling team with FC buddies so we all have a chance to get insta-pop dungeons for 60-70
(We'll just use PoTD for getting the new Jobs up to 60)
5: Continue to build the hype levels by watching SB trailer every morning xD
