You shouldn't let if others choose to quit or play dictate or influence whether or not you still want to play the game and be in it. Why is it that if others play or not, does that concern you?, play the game for your own enjoyment don't let others influence your enjoyment of the game. Now when I say others I mean other players what the developers do to the game itself is an entirely different thing in regards to whether or not you still want to play.

If the formula is still the same etc.. I will probably sub for every major patch, play 1 month, unsub and then repeat every 3-4 months.

If they don't mix things up a little bit for Stormsblood, I certainly won't be playing as much, I am excited for the changes to the combat system, if they aren't enough, I will always continue, but I may end up not renewing for a bit.

Why? Because:
I LIKE the formula we currently have.
I LIKE people being able to have the opportunity to have the same ilvl "I worked oh so hard for". (/eyeroll at douchenozzles that care about what gear others can get)
I LIKE consistency from xpac to xpac. There's something to be said about knowing what to expect.
I LIKE not having to relearn my class/job every xpac
I LIKE beautiful maps (empty or not... and I almost always see someone on my server gathering at the very least)
I LIKE that some content gets made easier as the xpac goes on. It lets ME decide when I feel its worth it to engage in that content (looking at you anima weapon). I also am not sore that I was done with Umbrite before the nerf cause I'm not a douchenozzle that cares what other people have or how easy or hard it was to get it. (and yes you ARE a douchenozzle if you care about something that petty and stupid).

I'll still be playing myself, I loved 2.0 and 3.0 but now with us winding down on what there is to do. Pretty much going to let my sub fizzle the last remaining months till 4.0

I'll still be playing, when im bored of pve, go play frontlines, I rather enjoy pvp, they are slowly tuneing it to the point to where its fun. I hope they keep paying some attention to us pvp players n keep breathing some life into it

I will be staying. I enjoy playing the game with my in game partner and we are looking forward to enjoying the expansion together. I even just ordered a new custom built PC to handle the expansion.

I don't mind the end game play at all, having someone to do it with makes all the difference and we have fun playing.
