I could maybe see the $7 for the backflip emote cause it like actually does something, but who pays $7 to lay on the ground like they dead? SE got their number.

Why is a new emote in the mog station?
Wasnt it supposed to be old event reward items and sometimes things from the chinese/korean game? lol

I feel this is the disconnect. People think that people who don't like the cash shop complain because they don't have the money. It is not a money issue (guilty of spending 200 on a silly transformer). It is the idea that the company is abusing the customer base.
If they announce that the veteran rewards is replaced with tokens. The tokens are then for cash shop items I could probably give a pass. Because then everyone who pays can have the same experience at the same price. People who want it faster can spend a little extra.
Not just a FF14 problem, but we have to reach a tipping point with micro transactions (hope?/believe?). The movie industry for years has spent squeezing their fan base. Less people lets just sell them higher tickets with extras. Recent articles at least point to a fear that people could stop showing up in droves.
Purchased. Can't wait to play dead on the neighbor's lawn with my FC mates.
A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

I'm surprised no one has made a thread suggesting /changepose options for play dead yet... X-D
...Don't do it... >:v
Apart from a little bit of fun and the obvious benefit some roleplayers see in it, many of them look liken they can easily pass as a sleeping or simple relaxed emote which you can use anywhere. For people like me who enjoy taking screenshots, there's easily plenty of potential beyond "appearing" dead, which honestly, isn't even that appealing to me by comparison since the novelty will only wear off.
