So I remember doing Expert as MCH with a SCH friend.
Tank was DRK and other DPs was BLM.
Tank did large pulls and trash were dying fast.
Me and my friend have our BiS.
At the end of Expert Tank says that dps was great and things were dying fast and he complements BLM.
But.. BLM was doing almost the same DPs as the DRK.. Most of the DPs was done by me and my SCH friend.
Felt so unfair that people will always assume that if trash are dying fast then it is the BLM or SMN doing all the job

Got kicked from leveling roulette today. One DPS went AFK for 10 minutes RIGHT before the final boss of Haukke Manor. When I voted to dismiss by reason of AFK, the rest booted me.
They're all on my server, too. Not sure how this isn't abuse of the dismiss function, but whatever.

Can sympathize with this. Like, I wouldn't call myself hardcore, but I do try my best to optimize my opener/micromanage my pet (I read essays worth of guides to work out the numbers and find something that worked for me when I was starting lol), and probably 80% of the time I've been paired with another SMN and I just side-eye them the whole time because I can't understand why they are doing the things they are doing. :/ Well, I do, they're lazy and didn't learn micromanaging and think DoTs are enough, but still!

As for BLM... I dunno why everyone assumes they're top DD all the time (it's a SMN pet peeve too haha). Most never optimize their rotation well enough to pump out the numbers people like to brag about. I can count on one hand the number of times I've run with one that was genuinely good at their job. XD (but the ones who are good put all of us to shame LOL).

Today I tanked Diabolos Hollow for almost a full minute after the tank went down and the BLM second in hate to him got ripped open like wet tissue.

This is one reason I got a crystal ball. When I comm DPS, I like being able to see who deserves it.

Last night, I tried to cram in a Frontline Roulette before maintenance. Out of the gate, we are solid #2, on Adders. Maelstrom is winning, Flames third. I call to fight Maelstrom, since they're winning. Somebody says "That's backwards. Fight third place so we don't give #1 points." Apparently, this argument made sense to everyone else, because we did exactly that and Maelstrom had the easiest win in the history of Shatter.

'Nother story!

Just got out of a Syrcus Tower run. For the first two bosses, this WAR from another party stayed in Defiance the whole time, stood in front, like they were trying to MT, even though I was pulling after an uncomfortably long standing around period. So, I asked if they would like to MT the rest. They said "Sure". Then, I ripped hate off of them in Sword Oath on the last two bosses. I had to slow down my GCD's to avoid doing it repeatedly. It's not like they were new, either. They were 60 with great gear. But, apparently the idea of MT and OT was just never properly explained to them? I don't know anymore.

It makes me sad when sprouts get a bad rap, so I wanted to share a happy story

Did leveling roulette and ended up in Aurum Vale. Tank was a sprout.

I was getting a little frustrated at first because he was pulling every single thing there was to pull. Not all at once, but one pack at a time. No wipes though so I let it go.

The run went flawlessly. Tank issued ready check before bosses. No wipes. No glaring mistakes. Everyone did awesome.

Tank kept saying how the healer was the best.

Tank got my commendation because when sprouts do an awesome job they deserve to know that.

Did A10 normal with the bf for his book. Bf is MT, I'm healing in Nocturnal Stance with a WHM co-healer. This monk dies a couple of times (at least three, I lost track after) and says something along the lines of "I'm going to stay dead, I'm obviously no help and there are a lack of heals". I tell him to learn to dodge and he responds with "It's kind of hard when its AOE and there's nowhere for me to run + I just came back from a break + its easy for you to say when you're ranged". OT agrees that the bf that he placed the boss wrong but that's strange considering the fact that we've done this so many times and no one has complained before. Granted 3/4 DPS in the party were ranged DPS, the DK was dodging just fine so that really grinds my gears on how its obviously the healers fault. MNK didn't even get Prey marked once =3=

Some of the highest DPS I've ever ran with have been BLM, stuff died fast even when the other DPS is garbage. I've also had my share of garbage BLM too though. Even some bare minimum Ilvl BLM have had really impressive dps though. My main gripe with BLM is that even the good ones seem to die at least once an instance.

The only competition to BLM ive ran with thus far was a scholar and two summoners, all of whom were doing top notch dps and simply blowing things out of the water.

At top tier savage I'm sure it's different though.

I need to apologize to everyone in my Labyrinth of the Ancients run.

Bone Dragon was not a good start. Very few people knew the mechanic, and it started the salt real fast. We wiped on the Atomos when Alliances split (because letters are hard), and then it was pulled early and people got locked out. I, uh, did not handle it well. I became straight up toxic to everybody, and I was tilted so hard that I was playing like shit, too. I died to a meteor on Behemoth, and never got a rez (probably because I was an enormous jerk and playing like garbage, as the death would illustrate).

I haven't tilted like that since back when I played League of Legends. It was bad for everyone involved, and I am very sorry.
