For me it's a 1. The expansion is what I had hoped for and I get the job I've been waiting for since 1.0, can't wait for Stormblood.

But after the latest fanfest it feels like Al Mhigo has been forgotten and the Expansion will focus on something completely different.

I'm so far very 'meh' about it all. No new tanks or heals is a bit disappointing, but nothing revealed so far either particularly excites or upsets me.

Well, judging people based off their words and lack of constructive feedback, it's easy to discern whether a person really cares or doesn't care, and obviously, you don't care if all you're saying is "This place is empty, fix it." "We did this two years ago under an old name, fix it."

In any case, Im done trying to convince you from other perspectives as well. I do get your points. I do understand that writing down something without proper examples and ideas comes off as a complain. But you are wrong. Im playing FFXIV now since 4 years. I saw enough to say that there are things to be improved.

For the amount that tickets were and people buying the livestream, I have to agree. Most were left with little more than even more questions, didnt really seem to explain any of the details most of us were or are concerned with, Heck, before NIN came out we got way more from that 14 hour live stream(watching it in actual combat) It would have been nice to get more clarification on both the system and how exactly the jobs will work or even a little more

The reason why my hype level is 0 and thus I am not looking that much forward to the expansion is, that they wrote some points like more inventory and yet explained none in detail. Yes things can change till the expansion but couldnt they at least tell us the minimum amount we can expect and maybe even more? We dont even know how much they will increase.

Well, Gyr Abania is a region of Eorzea, like the Twelveswood, Coerthas, Thanalan, etc... whereas Othard is another Continent, like Eorzea is a continent. I'd be surprised if there weren't a lot more zones in Othard, or that they were at least larger maps.

Well its somewhat confusing due to the fact they have shown us more Othard than Gyr Abania. I think they have actually only shown us one Gyr Abania zone. However they said the content would be divided 50%/50% between the two.

The concern is understandable though. If anyone is interested in Ala Mhigo fearing it might get glossed over isn't entirely baseless. After all the whole build up in 2.55 ended completely anticlimactically. That and since we seem to be about to engage in a war with Garlemald right in front of us its hard to see why we cross to the other side of the world in the middle of that.
