People could post a reasonable post with lots of arguments and ideas on this forum and yet there would be someone that goes "OMG you are whiner and all that salt!!!". There is barely anyone in this thread that is just purely "salty", they are just posting their opinions and if someone is a main tank or healer and had their expectations that it would be like HW than its kinda understandable that they are disappointed. I mean a new expansion does not come out every year..they will have to wait quite the time for a new tank/healer job. And as a main DD myself I do kinda wonder if the waiting time will go up quite badly. It might not be that way but some should understand that this is still a legit fear.

I am disappointed that we, at least with all the information we have now, can say that we will get less content than HW. At least in some parts. New zones and quests are a given in any expansion and imo its not what makes me hyped for a game. (Especially since having to take care of Doma and Ala Mhigo makes me fear for the main quests..I found the ending of the Uldah situation quite bad and quite some points were finished way to to fast imo, like the WoD plot..so I am quite skeptical that they will handle the 4.0 quests good.) I was really looking forward to more customization, especially after the dropping of PS3 and the increase in the requirements for the PC players..yet seemingly we wont get much there. Any other change was not really talked about. Somehow, even though the expansion is not that far away, they still are working on all the features and cant show us more about them.

And on a personal level I am just disappointed that after all the criticism for housing, the topics discussion this and so many great ideas from the community they still keep their old unfair housing system and on top of that instead of giving people the wanted Ishgard housing they will just ignore it..I do ask myself why we should even give ideas..

Theree was a live letter as well and there they did say there will ber nothing as big as a full revamping . adding and taking some skills is on no way a revamping .

I agree with this too. Dont call it revamping if you only change some small parts of it. This gives your players the wrong expectations and thus create unneeded anger afterwards.

Also SamsaraLotus you can edit your posts to go past the limit. ^^ Having more than one post with only one sentence behind each other feels kinda like double posting and kinda like spam. At least if they are done on the same day. But thats just a tip.

Yeah this doesn't sit well with me at all. Why are they calling it a revamp...its not. It sounds like some minor changes and a UI update. I'd really like to know more but I don't think there isn't much to know >.>;;

But we do not yet know how large the areas will be, i hope they are much larger then HW but they very well may be the same size.
Regardless at this point i am hoping for a longer and interesting storyline

Everyone does realize that they DONT have to add new jobs or races every expansion and some expansions will let more towards one thing or another, so how about we all be happy with what we are getting, and no more complaining about something that isn't even out yet.
I am not interested in either class, but there are a lot of things I'm looking forward too, so stop trying to find negatives and look for the positives the things that seem interesting, and hope for the best.
You'll find more threads about how someone is mad about SB and they haven't even playing a single min of content, if it upsets you that much, forum post don't mean anything, but your wallet does.

I don't think your entirely wrong but those who are unhappy are so because currently there are less positives than negatives. We really don't know much so we have a very limited picture to go on.

At the end of the day this game is a consumer item so its worth unhappy consumers making their voices know. If they simply revert to just stopping playing its not better for the game than constant complaints.

The current situation isn't by any means the end of the world but people have a valid reason to be unhappy with what information they are currently given and these forums most certainly where they should be expressing those opinions. How else will SE learn it has unhappy players and why they are unhappy?

Later you see 80% of them cry here how the sam or red mage they got is not what they asked for and how long they neex to wait for dungeons and why dps dont get bonuses from funs.

The current number is abnormal and I agree they feel entitled in this game to get everything their way, and they do considering they get more gils and XP than the others. They should not get more tank and healer jobs ever again in the future. In Stormbloood at least the jobs will be finally balanced, with 3 tanks, 3 healers, 3 strength jobs, 3 dex jobs and 3 int jobs.

How many modern MMORPGs have you played? WoW has 6, Rift has at least 4, SWTOR has 4 too I think, Wildstar has 2 though it still accounts for 25% of the available specs. In my experience FFXI would be the abnormal one.

Anyway regardless of if it balances numbers it's not going to balance queues. The whole point of tank and healer 'entitlement' is to try and encourage them to queue more so dps don't have to sit around waiting for dungeon queues for as long. That's just a matter of supply and demand.
