No one will be able to buy plots immediately, regardless of their progression in the MSQ.

This is being done so that people can focus on leveling classes or enjoying the new story, rather than worry over rushing to buy a new house.

I don't think anyone here saw much more then a little trailer or played it.

1. The fanboyism here is strong as if SE can do no wrong
2. Again no mention of new housing areas in the old housing zones
3. No new gameplay features announced. Where is Besieged? Where is more overworld *ON THE REGULAR MAPS* content. New styled Fates? Invasions?
4. Once again the game comes down to dungeons dungeons and more dungeons.
5. How about adding horizontal leveling, sandbox features?
6. Where the hell are male dreadlocks?
7. Are the cities ever going to be made bigger? Will the Platnum Mirage in Ul'dah ever finally open? What about giving Ishgard holiday decorations?
8. What about adding redone 2.0 areas that are bigger like how they did in Cata since Ps3 support is dropped?
9. What new steps are they going to take to stop house flippers from rushing into Shirogane and reselling?

At this point, "new content" rarely rings truly new to me in the face of antiquated or underutilized backbone designs and design philosophies.

Who didn't say this already Captain Obvious? Even still they said that he new housing zone will be locked behind the MSQ. You have to GET there first to be even able to buy the housing in the first place when it opens.

I'm sorry, but if you haven't completed the 3.56 story in the 3 months between it going live, and Stormblood launching, then that's on you.
And if you're complaining on behalf of those who aren't even going to start playing until this summer, then you've got even less sympathy from me.

You do realize that you are going to have to finish the Ala Mhigo part of the story first right? The only thing locking the housing zone behind the MSQ is going to do is make people rush through the content to be in Othard by the time the housing opens. As much as they think people are going to take their time and enjoy the content they aren't, *ESPECIALLY* if they don't add new zones to the older housing districts. All people are going to do is make a mad dash for the Othard content.

This is something that we do not know yet. We may or may not end up going to Kugane first.

And for all your disappointment and expression of how bland this Expansion is, you're still going to buy it, you're still going to renew your sub, you're still going to log in, so no matter how upset the minority get over Stormblood, SE/Yoshi/FFXIV is still going to make a profit, I just like reading these threads before I sleep because it pleases me to see such helpless resistance against the waves :3
