This is as much as we woll get.

I'm so excited for stormblood. I'm hyped for dps samurai and shirogane housing. The new city looks so awesome, and I'll definitely be chilling there often.
Some things I'm worried about is how the housing transfers will be handled. I just hope our large fc will be able to have a smooth transition into a mansion in the new residential area.
There is also that line of text at the end...Like... what, exactly? Read the bulletpoints on their official Stormblood page: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/stormblood/
They've mainly covered everything except for the inventory, battle system changes and Eureka. Swimming/Diving speaks for itself. Are you thinking they are magically hiding a boatload of content from us that will be surprise reveals? They would have done so at the Fanfests since those are their biggest events. Nothing else is coming, and you are a bit naive if you think there will be.
"More information coming soon!"
And given that they just recently updated that with all the info revealed at the Fanfest, could they add more? Maybe.
Personally, I feel that for an expansion releasing in a few months, they didn't show enough so far.
In the moment, I was super hyped, but after really sitting down and trying to do a quick write up for some friends that didn't have access to / missed the keynote, I realized that there is basically nothing specific or detailed at all.
I guess it's really going to come down to 3.56 establishing the premise of SB. Maybe something insane happens again like it did in the last story patches of ARR that gives more context to what's happening in those trailers (and they don't just instantly drop it all -- lol sleeping potion). All out war with the Garleans? Maybe liberating Ala Mhigo is a step in solidifying a forward base? And traveling to Doma is an attempt to have them band together with the Eorzean Alliance and Ala Mhigo and create a pincer attack?
I pre-ordered but I still desperately want to know what I just paid for...
I think that is referring to more information about the bulletpoints themselves and not anything major, or it is simply referring to smaller things such as extra hairstyles and things like that. Anything major that they will be doing has already been revealed or would have been revealed by now. It doesn't make sense for them to not use Fanfest as their opportunity for their biggest plans since it inevitably had the most viewers.
I think stormblood will good but I think they need to fix dead zones I posted an idea how they could do it a Siege type event like in ffxi http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...threads/318465
I'm honestly excited for the expansion however, HW at the start of the expansion was way too bare and it started off with what everyone "loved" doing...hunts. We had no relic until after Gordias, Gordias itself nearly killed the raiding scene, a lot of classes were not utilized at ALL in raids (Pld/Ast/Mch to an extent), I'm more optimistic for this expansion as I hope they learned from their mistakes at the launch of HW. It being smooth and enabling me to reroll to Drk with my IRL friends that's fine, but it's when I hit max level that all we had to do was Bismarck and Ravana EX until Gordias came around but the gear inbetween that was just hunts, and hunts, and hunts until you were blue in the face.
Like I said i'm really excited for this expansion but if they screw up the start of the expansion like they did with HW I will not be happy I liked everything after Gordias which for me, was 1/3 of the expansion wasted, and with the Diadem, and Lords of Verminion which no one ever plays anymore. The only thing i'm waiting for is clarification at this point as a lot of things were vague/ambiguous that SE never elaborated on such as the battle system, I also wish they had an open beta to test this content.
They could leave the story stuff out and let us as paying customers an idea of what we're paying for a lot other MMOs have open betas why not FFXIV? This leads to a lot of people wondering "what did I pay for" instead of solidifying their own resolves.
And that would be your baseless assumption.I think that is referring to more information about the bulletpoints themselves and not anything major, or it is simply referring to smaller things such as extra hairstyles and things like that. Anything major that they will be doing has already been revealed or would have been revealed by now. It doesn't make sense for them to not use Fanfest as their opportunity for their biggest plans since it inevitably had the most viewers.
As for why they wouldn't reveal something at Fanfest, it does make sense. If something is not ready to be revealed with ~4 months to go until release or a massive spoiler for patch 3.56, I assume they won't reveal it.
So far they adfd more of them.
If most of the big things are not at saome form of ready now its bad.
