stormblood and how you feel for it

So now we got all the big thungs for stormblood how you think its holding compared to HW.
    You like it.
    You don't.
Why you felll the way you do.

    So i start.
I have a bad feling for sb.i start to think it stands for bleeding content
We get 2 new classes over thw 3 in hw.
This 2 are dps only over 1 healer/tank/dps. As a tank i fell bad over it.
In hw we got a new race. Here we dont get new race or anything new for the one we have.
In sb they drop ps3 but we dont see what it giive to the game. We dont get shit from it.

The rest is the same as in hw,new maps dungeons, quests ans new skills.

So over all we dont get as much in stormblood nd i dont like it.

    sorry for my bad english

Well I spend all my time on XIV so obviously I'm going to buy SB, but beyond that it meh it will be new content to play but it won't be NEW if you know what I mean. As I think it will just continue to use the same formula without shaking the game up much.

Since no new tank or healer. And 2 jobs instead of 3. I am expecting alot more story compared to HW.

Only there wont be. I think they did say the msq will be as long as the one in hw and if they look on the forums they see that lots of people see the msq as somthing they forced to do and dont like it.

I really don't get all the pessimism. We're getting not one, but two entirely new regions to explore, both of which will probably be just as large as what was included with HW.

"But there won't be anything to actually DO in those areas" I hear people say. But they don't actually know that. I'd say setting their expectations low means being more satisfied with what they do get in the end, but I just know these types will simply complain no matter what. The new areas, already twice the locales as in HW, could be packed to the brim with interesting new content to be explored, but they'd still just keep complaining about not being able to subtly adjust their character's chin height.

    It's ridiculous.

Honestly with their reasoning for no new healers/tanks if I was a Tank or Healer I'd be beyond upset. Depending on how you look at they basically shunned 2/3 of the trinity right there. They are more concerned on appealing to the majority which all play DPS.

By regions you mean about 6-8 mostly empty maps. And don't give me the "you don't know that" excuse. Interesting new content sure. Elaborate what the content is and the pessimists will tell you what about it is new. Which is probably not a damn thing. Let's wait and see so we can wait and see if the content offered is the same as the content in the previous expansion. The story will be good though so we have that going for us I guess!

Don't actually care about no new tanks or healers so long as they actually fix the ones we have currently. That said, decidedly less hyped for Sb based on what we've been shown thus far. The setting doesn't interest me as much and I've seen nothing to suggest that endgame isn't going to boil down to "raid or farm tomes or both" again. It's okay if the devs and the playerbase like that content model, and I'm still keeping up with news on the expac, I'm just not nearly at the hype levels I was before HW comparatively.

Mostly excited for the combat adjustments and potential job fixes, tbh.

The fact that both new Jobs are dps lowers my interest in them since dps is the role I generally play the least in most group content. Beyond that we honestly don't have that much to go one. We have a very broad overview but not much detail. I will probably start to feel a lot more excited when I see that detail but for now I just don't have enough to get a clear image of what to expect.

    A few cases:
    - We know we are getting inventory increase but not how much or how its going to be implemented.
    - We know we getting a combat overhaul but apart from some UI changes and an overhaul of the cross class system we don't really know what that will mean for the feel of combat. We certainly don't really know how it will impact individual Jobs or the balance between Jobs.
    - We know we get an outdoor endgame zone Eureka but have little to go on what the gameplay of the zone will be like.
    - We know we are getting swimming but not really what gameplay we might have in these new underwater areas.

So at this point I am not too worried but not too hyped now the original hype has past. I need more to go on before I get more excited. The only thing that I am bothered by is the through of the salt and nagging the DPS queues might cause at launch. The idea of running every dps I know through MSQ dungeons is something I find off-putting. I like healing but I don't want to grind levelling dungeons just to help others with queue times because of role imbalance. That will turn the experience into a chore.
