    I am kind of hoping this is just referring to when you are 60. In Heavensward the stats increased at such a quick pace that being level 50 in the new zones really sucked, but as soon as you hit 51 it became significantly easier. I'm hoping what this means is that mob strength increments will be a bit more gradual. But who knows. This dev team constantly does stuff that baffles me.

    Nice to hear but still wish there were gameplay mechanics in place to give all those random mobs in the field a purpose after the local fetch quests are cleared. Give'm a random low % chest that gives gil or something. There's far too much filler landscape and mobs surving zero purpose.

    I liked the XI system where chests could drop and have a low chance of givung you a unique item per zone for glamour etc.

    You don't need HW to access SB, so that logically means you'll be able to enter the areas at level 50 which pretty much means the open world isn't going to be a threat until around level 70.

    That sounds like alot of fun and would make grinding for crafting mats a bit less boring.

    Am I the only one not jumping straight onto the "shorter = easier" bandwagon? They can make fights shorter while still requiring players to put the same amount of thought into killing as the 3.x mobs.

    I'll just wait and see how it ends up being, in 4.0.

    I think it is about FATEs. In 3.0 the FATE enemies were not really harder, just longer to kill.
    I'm more for shorter fights, where in 10 sec the enemy or the player is dead. Better than a 1 minute fight with a 100% win for the player.

    Tbh, the fact a trash mobs dies in two hits instead of three, does not changes much. I am doing all low quests with my main and let the other class reap the rewards so, really, does not change anything. And by the case I am on my first character, you all know from where the main source of exp comes, so again, trash world mobs again does not matters much. I guess the interviewer was short on questions and throw in the first thing he had in his mind.
