This is the kind of response that lets them get away with the answers they do. "Can't do X because of server limitations" and "lol stability!!!!!!" will continue to be a trend until this game eventually dies. I kinda' care where my sub money goes and what it's used for, and if they continually use these reasons (hint: they've been doing it since 2013), and people just give up like this, it will never end. People really should demand more from SE, a Triple A game company with more than enough money to get better servers and provide better quality updates than just a predictable patch cycle with crap that people will get bored of a week after it's out and let their sub lapse. Heavensward 2.0, here we come.

The reason he gave for not adding a butt slider doesn't sit well with me. The textures would get stretched? We already have sliders for other things, including bust, so it's not like there's no way they couldn't make it work. At least he realises there's a demand and said he would look in to it.

By now people should realize that the no Butt Slider was never PS3 limitations but just the developers choosing not to add it in. We could have gotten butt slidders in 2.0 or 3.0 with PS3 support as it would be similar to Boob sliders but for the Butt.

As of now it seems the no butt slider is just a standard they have for the game now so outfit development doesn't have to strain too much on different butt sizes and possible clipping issues.

Bust size has no effect on 99% of gear unless it says "it can only be equipped for this race" (the starting race gear/hempen).
They know butt slider will have no effect on shared gear/glamour

I dont know either... Would rather have more preset faces, different ears for miqote, horns for au ra, beards for roe etc. than butt slider. Looks like some glare at their flat butts rather than their dublicated faces.

Fundamentally, I don't think they trust us the players. Sliders for facial features and body structure would have been great way to avoid duplication too, but I assume they were worried about the aesthetic of the game.

I would have loved a butt slider in particular; however, it would have been too much power entrusted to too many people. I scarcely imagine the apocalyptic hellscape that would have resulted from such a decision. It is a pity, but we cannot have nice things.
