SE please stop putting ex primals in the raid finder and put them back in duty finder

Dear people making guids on youtube,

please make a guid to show hos to use the raidfinder! Currently people arent struggeling so much with soar but with queuing up for Zurvan since they cant find the duty! They've shown and pointed out that they can research guides and videos on how to clear content, maybe you can help them to access it aswell!

Raid finder excludes people based on experience though. In Raid finder you can choose to only queue with people who have cleared, only people who want to do the first phase, or only people who want to do the last phase. You can't select it for all, which divides up the already small number of people who would use Raidfinder, and people just make PFs for the above options anyway, raidfinder is redundant. DF works because it mixes people who have cleared, and all the other people of varying experiences. I am someone who likes helping people clear content in DF (I am still proud of when I helped 6 first-timers clear the whorleater before HW came out), and I really miss the DF experience.

This is a bone of contention for a lot of people. Some fights are far from trivial, even when they are overgeared for like Thordan Ex. There are many that don't appreciate having their farm time wasted because they got lumped in with newbies and no option to bail (because of 30 min pentalty). I think the RF is fine where it is, it just needs to allow multi queuing.

Before RF, any completely new EX primals were full party queue only until they lifted the restriction later. You couldn't even solo queue the new ones. In that sense, it's sort of an improvement.

I mean I guess the really old ones should have been pulled out by now and thrown into DF but you would lose the filters so there are pros and cons.

Nah it's not because it is RF. It's because people do 1 tank strategies in NA datacenters, and it wouldn't change if it was in DF since both force 2 tanks by default. Sophia RF was decently popular, but that's because the standard party setup was the normal party setup in PF and being able to solo queue completion with others with clears was a game changer.

Thats why I personally would suggest to narrow the options down to "cleared" and "not cleared" - if you've cleared it you're ofc still free to queue up for "not cleared" if you wish to help!
The problem with DF is: Farming ex-primals there isnt a very pleasent experience, because well, yes, you get all sorts of people. That makes it ofc useful for those who are trying to learn and clear, but useless/painful for everyone who just wants their weapon - sometimes you've got half an hour on your hand, thats not enough to commit to a farm-party; and sometimes I like the option to jump out even after just one or two runs without feeling bad about it.

You're making it sound a bit like "I dont want all those experienced players to be taken out of my queue", yet that might be what those people actually want and forcing them to help isnt... "good" - it leads to all that toxic behaviour we're seeing towards people being new to an ex-primal. So give them the option to only queue up with people who have cleared the instance before is good in my opinion. But the other selections can go, since the game cant check them anyways and they just hurt the queue-pool without achieving anything.

Sophia was/is great in RF! She might be one of the easier primals, granted, but honestly: one-shoting her like 10 times in a row with randoms was really, really nice (not so nice: I lost the bird ;_; with 97...)

Likely because RF is already going to split up the available pool of players quite a bit and adding it to DF is a mostly pointless further division of that pool of players. Dividing the player pool up too much makes it hard for the queue to fill groups, which leads to longer wait times and a less positive game experience.
