I had a healer in the Aery who, after we wiped to Estinien dying to Nidhogg's post-adds attack, complained that none of us raised them. First off, they're the only healer in a 4-man dungeon with no SMN. Nobody else could. Secondly, we were all dead too, we all had to run back even if we could have raised them.

So I've been having loads of fun getting into Alex Savage lately. The real fun though was when I went to get my A10S Clear this week. A9S had went perfectly smoothly, so the group I was with proceeded into A10S. I play OT when doing A10S, and it was right around the first tank swap when I started getting major lag spikes. Y'know those wonderful kinds where everything freezes and then fast forwards before your eyes once the connection stabilizes? Somehow, miraculously, I managed to NOT die despite lagging out right when I would've been hit by a tank buster. Even managed to still clear it despite the issue!

It's inconveniences like this that really add a thrill to things! Well, when they don't completely ruin everything anyway.

I was tired of spamming PotD to get Smn leveled to 60, and I typically main healing, so I thought I'd switch to Scholar for a few levels. I respec my points back to Mnd, get some level 50 gear from a vendor to get me started, and ended up in the Vault.

Worst. Mistake. Ever.

I am still mortified; it was the very first time I've ever had a tank rage quit due to my poor healing. An FC mate jumped in and tanked us the rest of the way and we managed to clear the last two bosses without incident (but it got uncomfortably close!)

To add insult to injury; not a single piece of Healer gear dropped allll dungeon, and my weapon was the worst offender being a book from Cutter's Cry, and what drops after the final boss? The damn book... orz

I will never make that mistake again.

Just did Gubal Hard and the Bard sang Foe's as frequently as he could without me even asking (I was the only caster as a scholar). It was a beautiful thing... almost brought a tear to my eye. He got my comm.

How come you didn't go and buy a set of lvl 56 left side gear (plus weapon) off NPC vendors?

Sounds like you were unecessarily punishing yourself there. Especially on the weapon front.

It was an honest oversight; I'd spent so much time getting tome gear I was completely out of touch with where to get NPC gear for 56. I've since corrected the problem. >_>;

As a bard i always assume the healer will dps, because as a healer i always try to dps and strongly advocate healer deeps.

Easiest Void Ark ever. It was so easy, I didn't have to dodge, didn't have to sing Foe Req for the casters in the group, didn't have to kill adds.

I joined an in-progress, you see, and while me and a healer from my party were trying to get to the Echidna, one of the two tanks in the alliance (my party was missing a tank) pulled. And locked us out.

I comm'd my new healer friend who sat outside the locked gate with me.

Running the Vault with a couple of friends so she can complete her WT. The AST made me cry. He gave 3 Boles to the tank. He gave 1 Ewer to me (SMN). He gave 5 Balances to the DRG, and since she and I were voice-chatting, she happened to mention that her parser showed that I was crushing her - it'd make more sense for him to give me Balances. He also shuffled a Balance, RR'd all the Arrows, and Spread Ewers (the ones he eventually gave to me).

He was also an 8 cnj and a 1 thm.

I mentioned to my friend that if they died, I'd have to do the rezzing...and boy, did it get close....

Then he comm'd her. Seriously, the WAR and I didn't exist.
