You're assuming that the game will be acceptable in 1.20. just like everyone thought ffxiv launch would bring an acceptable game. Which it didn't. How do you know SE will make good on their promises? This is the true definition of a fan boy. You give a company money because they promise you something, and on top of that it won't even come in a year. At best, with their track record, expect to see an acceptable game in a year and a half, maybe 2.

Because since changing management, they have delivered on their promises to improve the game so far. It's not faith in the company I'm holding, but faith in the people who have already proven that they are determined to turn the whole thing around.

Also, I'm not giving my money for the content that will come in a year. I'm giving my money to continue enjoying the content they are currently providing. The content that I'm having fun with. When 2.0 comes, THEN I'll be giving them money for 2.0.
