Do you think better character customization will be revealed at Fan Fest?

We cant even have two different dyes on one piece of gear due to server load and rendering issues with Yoshi even joking "we need ps5 to do that" so i will have to gently, but firmly, shoot your idea of moulding character faces to the ground.

I think people are mixing some of what he said together, because we know and can reference systems older and less fancy that can do more lol (referencing other games). Although probably a system headbutting some of these many option desires I think is that he is massively fixed on PvP large scale combat with very little to no delay issues, something I imagine most players don't really care about. For massive amounts of players you just cheat anyways, start using compressed information that doesn't get it correctly lol (doubt many would notice when there are Odin levels of people on screen anyways).

PS3 support ends when the patch 4.0 is released. That was stated at the last fanfest. As for new races, wasnt that answered in a live letter?

Wasn't there a picture of a female character showing off a new outfit who was barefoot? If that's the case, hopefully it'll be in 4.0 and put an end to socks that end at the ankles and certain shoes that contain parts of long socks inside.

I think people pinning any hopes on this whatsoever are setting themselves up to be sorely disappointed. Still, I can always dream.... though I wonder what could possibly be added that would make me change any one of my characters at this point.

I hate to be a negative nancy, but I think the most that we will get is a new hairstyle, pose, sitting style. I want to see new faces, new scar, beards and moustache for the lads, tattoos on different part of the body. I have shared my opinion before, but I want to see more handsome faces for males and character customization that will make us look different from one and each other.

Right now alot of players have similiar looking characters, look at the female Miqotes, most look like clones of each other. If we had more options, we could make our character more unique.

As much as I want more customization in this game I doubt it will happen to the degree we would want it. At FanFest, Yoshi was asked if they can add curly hair to the game and he backed away from the mike. He then said wait for PS5 for that to happen. I can't believe curly hair can be that difficult to make, then again, I don't know their limitations, so I'm not expecting much.

I hope so. I support all character customization threads for a long time now. It will be utterly disappointing if they don't add something more to character customization and I don't mean just only few new haircuts. We need new faces, more choices for eyes, eyebrows etc. This game severely lacks in this department in comparison with other MMORPGs. Our Character Creation Screen is very very poor.
