There will be the next anima step and possibly proto-ultima, which is rumoured to drop accessories. I'd be surprised if those accessories are 270 (I'm thinking more 260) but you never know.

min ilevel for 4.0 should be around the last dungeon gear ilevel (as an example, last battle before HW required ilevel 90, while the max. ilevel for lv50 gear is ilevel 130)
I recommend to buy all scripture gears and to upgrade them. They should be usefull until level 66, i guess. Also get a raid/relic weapon.
Also get upgraded Garlond gear for RDM and whatever 2nd job come
