You know why people are upset about Viera? Because SE have been teasing them ever since the race poll. They won, and yes there are people that would like them to honor that. I think people have a right to like them.

it was a poll, not a promise - they are under no obligation to add Viera just because of a poll result.
I don't want them to add viera, because it wouldn't add anything new whatsoever (not even bunny ears, cause we already have them) it would just be a symbol of how SE copy-paste content, and how utterly repetitive and predictable all the content, is - that is, Viera will look like Miq or Elezen, but with bunny ears instead of cat ears, or elven ears.
the only reason ppl want Viera, is because of Fran - so we're gonna have an army of Frans demanding SE to add Fran outfit to the game, so they all can be even more copy-pasted like the rest of XIV content.
Honestly at this rate, i wish they would just add more sub-races instead; like a bulkier viking-like hyur, less bulky (male) roe. more feral miq, less chubby/more nimble lala.
