Financial reasons and freeing up more personal time notwithstanding, as far as the gaming experience goes, what would potentially give you the final push to cancel your sub and never look back?

RMT interruptions?
Player disagreements?
Annoyingly excessive grinds?
Cash shop?
Abundance of loading screens?
Rank hunts?
PVP?
Frequent maintenance?
Etc?

None of the above, except grinds if there is nothing else but those to do. I'd say I'd leave for the same reasons I left WoW: too much focus on raiding (nothing else to spend the bulk of your time with), lack of meaningful main/side story quests, reward systems and character progression that rely too much on RNG as opposed to deterministic reward systems, inability to progress anywhere in the game with reasonable effort (i.e. everything is a grind like in WoW, or alternatively content or group finding is too difficult), poor catch-up systems for alt classes (I like playing multiple classes), having my main's racial appearance changed to the worse and having classes changed to worse until there's none I enjoy playing as (it started with BRD but AST sort of made up for it).

I think I'm a pretty easy customer to please. Just give me a good story and stuff to do that takes a little time, maybe a little skill, and give me guaranteed cosmetic and collectible items as rewards. Make content accessible, playing alts possible and don't f*** up races and classes that aren't broken.

Further destruction of an already dumbed down card system for Astrologian. If this happens, I'll move on to Summoner+Scholar or White Mage, and if the expansion's additions to those jobs fail to entertain me, I doubt I'll stay. (50% success rate)

The RNG element is interesting, in that players seem okay with working hard at say, clearing a fight, but essentially walking out most of the time with consolation prizes. Losing rolls, weekly caps and lockouts, etc and they still go back for more.

I would probably only quit if my boyfriend quit. A lot of drama happened in my former FC last year and if it wasn't for him, I would have quit.
