Am I the only one who wants a very long msq line in stromblood ?

This game is so diverse and filled with many different players, some love the lore of the game and love this games story. How I like it is I love the story of the game but don't love gating all things behind said story. So basically I enjoy a ton of story but it not blocking me from exploring different areas or doing different job quest etc, I like to play around the story and come back as I please when Im ready to do more.

But I still very much love the story in this game. So are their other people like me that hopes that we get a very long story quest line for stormblood? Are do people prefer how the quest round out at about 100 for the main hw quest line. I havent heard many people talkin about what they hope for in the msq so Im just curious. I like lots of msq and I for one am hoping thats what we get next expansion.

I would love to see a long story line. I have enjoyed the entire set of msq in hw and have high hopes for Stormblood. HW has been such a roller coaster of emotions with its story.

The only section of quests I hope to never see again are the first half of the ones leading to HW. Those just dragged on.

Nope you are not, for just any many people that hate the story aspect of the game there just as many (maybe even more) that do love the MSQ.

I'm thinking 3.5 will be the last bit of story before Stormblood... With 3.55 coming in March according to the trailer and Stormblood set to come in June...

And going by 3.4's story... The Griffin, whoever he actually is, will play a huge role in the end of HW's story and set up of the expansion...

Its apparently not quite like that. 3.5 is this Tuesday, 3.55 is in February, and 3.5 part 2 is in March. Some of the story we saw in the trailer will be in March but it was non-spoilery so Omega and the Wall are for sure on part 1.

Why they didn't just go 3.5/3.51/3.55 I have no idea but there you go.

I'd definitely like a long and involved MSQ line. That's one of the things I absolutely expect from an FF game. A short, quick and shallow MSQ line would be completely unsatisfactory. Since they are implementing jump potions to allow story skipping for new players to catch up, I feel that the writers should be allowed to create a long involved story since by the time the 5.0 expansion hits, there will presumably be a jump potion to get past the 4.0 story anyway. But in the meantime, the current players get to enjoy a good story as they play.

I heavensward story my few complaints are some story thread was not fresh out enough or ended weirdly quick, ex: warriors of darkness, raubahn and the sultana resolve. Those were badly implementing but could be better if it had just a few more story quest to make it work.

Yeah i felt like these ones were solved way too quick, like it was just another tuesday.

I hope Stormblood MSQ is long AND enjoyable, not just long for the sake of being long (like the go pick the crystal to enter the primal lairs, ops wrong one, wrong one, ooopies wrong again).

No you are not alone. I would like a compelling long and interesting story. This is a main FF game. 3.0 was nice but I would like to see something even better. I hope the Yoshi-team will do even better this time.
