When it comes to power, Men tend to empower their muscles and take a grotesque form to achieve this goal meanwhile Women tend to keep their form erotic because they are aware that their strongest asset is the allure of the body to throw men off guard. A woman with natural beauty is not quick to throw away their image at the cost of power.

On top of that the entities which were praised as "gods" by the people Sophia and Lakshmi, when the masses think of them, they don't imagine them as just dull/normal or unattractive, they become physical manifestations of the ideal beauty they imagine. Though I will say, it would be interesting if SE did look into the past and actually play with the idea of the "image of beauty" from past eras, because what we perceive as beauty today is drastically different from what was consider beauty by our ancestors or heck even 20 years ago.

I don't see it as an issue. There's plenty of eye candy in regards to both female and male characters. One needs only look at some of the outfits available for male characters that show off their muscles...or have the illusion of very tight pants.

Can't say I would mind more attractive male eye-candy that is not Mr. Universe levels of muscular. There are multiple standards of male attractiveness, as is the same with female. Lets have more of Aymeric's design and less Emperor Xande already.
