DEV REQUEST (again): The Emperor's New Shield

I think the problem with the emperor's new shield has always been an issue with the animations looking really strange without the shield. Block, Shield Lob, etc. Take of the shield and it looks kind of dumb.

This is why I think they have said no in the passed. Creating new animations takes time and they don't want to offer something that looks bad because inevitably someone will say, "Its great I can hide my shield but my animations look dumb. Please fix SE".

How about just using a Shield is as integral to Paladin is using a Sword? Do you think they should have an invisible Sword too?

That would look just as odd. PLD's animations used both.

If I remember right, they said no to EN Claws for a long time, then relented when demand on the forums reached a certain level.

And I do play DRK also, doesn't change my request.

They didn't have to adjust the animations for that. I also believe they said it might be possible to do EN fist weapons but it just took them a while to implement.
