When are we gonna get the option to exhchange poetics for latest tomes?

As the topic says. It is kinda bothersome as a endgame player that we are not given the option to be able to change poetics for the second currency at this moment beeing lore.
Eventually Poetics will have no function yet most dailys for level 60 players still drop poetics aswell as the hunts.
Maybe it is time to fix this? The ratio can still be 4 poetics for 1 lore etc.

They still have their poetics. It is not meant for poetics to be removed just the option of beeing able to exchange poetics for another currency at level 60.

if they were smart they would merge Poetics with Scripture sometime in the 4.x series.

there should always be at least 3 Tomes, one weekly capped, one uncapped for the current expansion and one uncapped for people that don't have the current expansion.

If poetics is the main currency for ARR then let it remain but when you reach 60 and have all jobs at 60 the poetics is very useless and the option for endgame players should be available to exchange them for different tomes and by that beeing the second tome that does not cap. Only problem is we will be stuck in this tome formula that most players want out of.
If they don't change it Poetics is still something we will obtain through level 50 roulettes, hunts, mentor roulette and daily trial depending on what we get ofcourse. The option should be for you to change poetics to the currency that does not cap weekly when you reach endgame this should have been an option a long time ago.

Because you still need items bought with poetics if you're going for your 3.0 relics.

1) They are not useless - you can use them to buy gear (that you can desnyth or exchange for seals) still, items that are needed for the relic etc. etc.
2) They wont let us exchange poetics because, well they are the currency of ARR and are not about to removed - each time we had the option to exchange tomes, those tomes got removed, instead they made poetics valueable for HW-content again
3) Watch your language - no one is going to take you serious if you talk like that and you might just simply get bannend

The reason you can't exchange your poetics is because it's its own currency and just because it's useless to you doesn't suddenly mean you should be able to exchange it for some other currency. Poetics is still used even in relevant content and is the tome for ARR gear. If you don't need it, then don't farm it.

I agree with the OP, and actually understand what he's saying too! Let us exchange poetics for lore if we want. I have every piece of Ironworks, every upgrade item, every random thing you can buy with it, ten times over. I don't need it, I don't want it, I don't farm it, yet I still cap it every other week just doing other things that give me poetics anyways. I just throw it away on Crystal Sands I also don't technically need, but at least don't have a cap to how much I can hold. What I need is Lore, and lots more of it. Even at 4:1 trade in, I would gladly welcome something to throw my poetics into that is actually relevant. Poetics isn't like gil, or MGP or wolf marks - those currency are still current and relevant to the current game as much now as when they were introduced. Poetics is outdated for current gameplay, and while shoehorning it in for relics is something, it's still a shoehorn fix. It would be better and more elegant to just keep the tradein option they had for it and Law tomes and update that tradein to Lore, and eventually scripture and whatever else comes next. That way these tomes you will inevitably get no matter how hard you try not to will always have a purpose.

(I also think they should make all those old tome mats that are now sold from GC seals only also buyable with Poetics too. They were tome mats once, make them tome mats again, please)
