So how long until people complain about the dyeable armor being PvP exclusive?

Shouldn't be an issue? They're removing GC restriction from Frontlines. You buy the gear via wolf-marks and since it's a collab event, the que times should be near instant (which was the biggest gripe with pvp anyways)? So as long as you're at least queing up for the stuff you will get your credits to buy the gear. This is also the perfect chance to get the pvp mounts for people who missed out on stuff like the Aero-Dynamics and ADS along with Field Commander coat.

People asked for them to come up with creative ways to revive pvp and I feel this is a proper step in the right direction. You still win marks for just participating, so you will get your gear eventually and it encourages new players to finally dip their toes in the water.

Ok, now that that's out of the way!

I actually think Garo crossing over makes way more sense then people give it credit for. Garo's themes all heavily revolve around Light and Dark and the delicate balance yet brutal battles between them. In his own world, Garo could be called a Warrior of Light since he is pretty much seen as a light of hope. (Hence why his golden armor has this slight radiance to it.) and overall, yeah, this is a pretty good crossover, the armors look great and I want Gouten (The golden horse.) like right now, RIGHT! NOW! Also please give me the transformation effect...it's so good!

I have a question. I noticed the PLD had no shield in that trailer. Will this event have no shield item? Are we getting the Emperor's New Shield? What is going on? Am I so overhyped I'm seeing shadows where there are none?

Please, watch the tokusatsu series, specifically the first 2 seasons. All of the event stuff is based off that.

Garo collaboration
- Mainly PvP oriented. Get into PvP, leave some results, get points and use it to get event rewards.
- It's nothing like the previous Youkai Medal event.
- There will be no special motions for this event (as in emotes) because it might be overdone. The period of the event is said to be longer than Youkai Watch as well.
- Garo Mounts are achievement rewards.

I had no idea what Garo was before this and I don't particularly care to know more after--same as Yokai.

The armor is alright, I guess.

The mounts are nice, but not if I have to PvP for them.

I'm sad for no emotes. But I had a PVP title on my list of "Things to do before 4.0" so I'm good with PVP.

Never heard of Garo. And frankly a PVP focused event sounds even worse to me than another FATE grind. >.>
The completionist in me will likely attempt it regardless. I hope the mount achievements aren't too hard.
