remove hairstyle restrictions

For example I would like a tail accessory for Au ra or Miqo'te.

You make it sound as though there's a switch they can flip that will suddenly allow these hairstyles to be used by other races. It's not that simple - before a race can use a hairstyle they haven't had before, SE needs to redesign the hairstyle to fit that race. This takes design effort (more for some hairstyles than others), which takes developers off of other tasks, etc, etc.

Each hairstyle you want to be made all-races and all-genders, needs an appreciable amount of development effort to implement. That's why SE asks for specific requests, rather than just going ahead and doing them all.

Oh, and there's also the Mi'qote problem: any hairstyle that has short or no hair on the sides looks positively CREEPY on Mi'qote. As human beings observing humanlike character models, we subconsciously expect there to be ears on the sides of the head or something that looks like it could be covering up ears. When they're not there, the uncanny valley hits like a freight train. If the developers were to make all hairstyles all-races, they would likely leave these out - and that would simply be unfair, for Mi'qote to have so many less hair models than other races. And if SE gave them additional unique hairstyles to make up for it, then we're back to square one!

I would love them to remove all hairstyle restrictions, several Hyur and Miqo'te hairstyles are quite pretty, but I would like to use them more in Au ra (Even Au ra most of her hairstyles are pretty, to use in other races)
This would give us more possibilities of personalization

By the way, I'm the only one who believes that they should put more hair colors?

I'm not sure PS3 restrictions was ever the issue here.

I think it's nice to keep a few race restricted. Particularly the ones that would look odd on other races, such as any Roe styles with their unique hair line.

I'd love them to add more of the other races styles though, I've had my eye on a certain hyur style since launch.

Yes and no, I don't want any other races to have the 'Axel' inspired hair cut that male Au Ra have, but I also want the other hairstyles like cat girl dreads. But selfish I know, but hey xD

Yes please remove it, it doesnt make the races unique but the exact oppostie.
Since there isnt much to choose from, players from the same race use all similar hair.
It would be nice if there was no restriction at all, then every race would have more hair to choose from.

edit: There is also an elezen NPC from the "school" sidequest in Ishgard who uses a male Au Ra hairstyle, which isnt unlocked for players yet.
