This whole idea that they need money is foolish, I've already pointed out that the men that allowed this failure to hit the store shelves are making MILLIONS and pulled in just as much in 2010. I just refuse to line their pockets until they give me a triple A quality MMO launch.

If 2.0 is what they claim it to be I'd gladly pay 20 a month for a quality product. Till then? not a chance.

Fact is, Yoshida said himself that the game is only half way to being satisfactory. Therefore, we're experiencing a post release beta.

I'm not doing any sort of testing for SE, I'm not reporting any bugs, I'm not contributing at all in any way, shape, or form, to any sort of "fixes" that need to be or are being done. I hardly post on here, I just play. If it's fun for you, pay for it. If not, don't. Either way, stop whining about principles and such. The game is and always has been, literally, playable. Just because there wasn't a million things to do does not mean it wasn't playable.

Exactly how I feel. And in all honesty, if this game wasn't fun, people wouldn't be playing it in the first place. So if you're currently logging in the game several times a week, you should pay for it when they ask.

My 6 year old computer with a new video card and a small ram upgrade plays FFXIV like a champ. Just saying.

I enjoy ffxiv, and play it on a regular basis. And I will continue to do so. If 12.95 a month is going to break your budget, or do anything remotely close, yes, you should go, an re-evaluate your life choices, such as spending a fortune on a computer that can even hope to play ffxiv when you are in such financial crisis.

If SE needs money, which they do after sinking a fortune into ffxiv, to make ffxiv succeed, then sure, have $12.95 a month from me. In face, they can have $25.90, I'll keep my mule active too.

It's honestly very encouraging to see how many people are going to continue playing when the subscriptions hit.

I'll pay and play because the game is enjoyable and I want to see how this evolution is going to take place. When that Umbral Event hits, you can bet your subligar that I'm going to be at the forefront of it to witness it.

I honestly can't wait til subscriptions hit and the entitled children are no longer running around, whining.
