Chances we might see Culex or Lavos in this game?

They're from basically now-unused Square properties (I think? Please correct me), much like Cruise Chaser (either from this game or FF9), and Culex would make such a fabulous Spriggan Primal, and Chrono Trigger would make such great Raid material. Has there been any indication in such a direction?

Wishful thinking (Not gonna happen): I'd personally love to see Lavos as a dungeon itself. Like in Chrono Trigger, defeating his head would allow you to get in its body, then fight with all the manifestations of its being through a wicked alien organic-looking dungeon. Imagine having a remasterized version of all these themes inside a dungeon, with the Black Omen's theme as a background throughout the whole run. Lovely if you ask me.

I can argue this is a FF game and other game's elements are considered as a promotional spot, but hey... a man can dream.

Having Lavos in the game would be a great encounter, and not all that difficult to incorporate into the story as a boss for a 24-man raid, or an 8-man trial encounter. Culex, as great as he'd be, unfortunately would never make it in. Partially because Super Mario RPG is partially owned by, of course, Nintendo. So that'd be a legal battle that'd go on for a while, and Culex isn't worth it. Besides, Culex kind of reminds me of Sephirot to begin with ...

Also, keep in mind Lilseph, there's references to other Square games all over the place as of right now. The Deep Dungeon and it's boss from Tactics Ogre (I believe), the island in Azys Lla named after the Last Remnant ... it's not too far off to see a reference somewhere to Chrono Trigger. Or Chrono Cross as well, I guess ...

Since they mess with time they could distort it also.

Causing a time space warp could send lavos to the world of final fantasy.
Also lavos falls from space what are the chances of it hitting this world then being sent away again.

I mean since they are time travelers though it probably would never happen, though it would be cool to hear that epic music inside the game.

With Chrono Trigger being one of my favorite rpg's of all time, I would kill for a reference to that. And given that most of the major side content we do is related to ancient Allag, it would make a fair bit of sense that things like the Epoch and Lavos could've been creations of the Allagan civilization.

Hell, make Lavos a Primal dungeon (maybe even a raid, considering Lavos has at least *5* different forms), with a heavy Allagan backstory similar to CT. That would be pretty awesome.

Sky seems to be the limit considering they added Tactics Ogre stuff to this game which I think is somewhat related to Ivalice making it FF related but still if we can get Einhander referenced I can't see what the harm in reimagining another Square property would do, that's what this game does right? reimagines stuff to fit in Eorzea. See Dreagnoughts, Construct 8's and Aevis'

How about a primal that isn't an SE reference and is an original idea for a change? Literally only Thordan is an original idea based on no previous games... From what I could find via research.

King Thordan and the Knights Twelve actually technically are from a past FF game... at least their form is if not their name - their Primal form is actually Knights of the Round from FFVII - they even use the KotR summon's actual attack 'Ultimate End' from that game (right down to shattering the screen at the end!). Knights of the Round also showed up recently in the FFXV tie-in film Kingsglaive (as the 'past kings of Lucis' that Nyx summons to protect the city).

Really the only Primal in FFXIV that is not based on a past FF game is Ravana (and even that sort-of has a possible model - it appears to be based on a similar looking monster from FFXI... but there is no direct proof it's meant to be the same thing.
