if it was possible for me to play the game right now i would be. and in my opinion your the one trolling. "if i just scream loud enough SE will hear my plight and not charge me"
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion.
I voted no. I do like this game - or at least, I do like the direction the game is heading. I do not at all feel it is anywhere near ready to begin charging a subscription price. I am currently playing despite the unfinished state of the game because it is free and I see a lot of promise in the finished product.I see you've played though take two jobs to level 50, 2 more into the forties and several more over level 30.
That's an awful lot of playtime for a game you claim not to like.
If those 213 (so far) people who voted no, don't think the game is in any fit state at the moment then why are you still playing?
However, because I have a very limited budget (and yes - to me even $15 a month has to be spent wisely) and also limited playtime, I need to make sure that if I am paying for something, that I really feel like I am getting the most out of that money. I do see myself paying for a subscription again in the future, but unless something major changes in the next month, I don't really see enough to plunk down my money just yet for this game. I still might, but I am definitely leaning towards no for now.
It isn't just people who hate the game who voted no, and it isn't just people who have no intention of ever paying. Some of us are just going to make a decision to wait until the game is ready and spend our money on something else in the meantime.
For those who don’t like the news:
Wow, what a lot of cheep bastards. You’ve been playing this game for a year free (or at least of cost of the software), don’t post complaints in the forum; just go away. (..and I could give a pot of piss if you want to argue its broken, doesn’t matter, still doesn’t make it your intellectual property.)
People go to work, they get paid to create this, it’s their right to charge a fee, don’t like the price; don’t pay it, just go away.
Good riddance to the players with 50 mules in the Wards, or the players who can’t decide if they are going to keep playing, hey Wow or Rift are great games go there or go anywhere; just go away!
WOW Another mindless dude who doesn't understand the meaning of true value here, it's not like that want to play the game for free, if they gonna pay they want a game that worth the money they gonna pay for, it's that simple and lots of you guys still don't understand.Wow, what a lot of cheep bastards.
so how long have you been playing the game for with your lvl 50, and what other MMO's have you been playing at the same time. i'm guessing your paying to play one right now? but then again for your high lvl maybe you devote all your time to FF14. why coz its free??? wonder what free game your moving onto now. i hear lord of the rings has a free game have fun
just saying all these trolls didn't mind playing while it was free. and anyway i think its a SE master plan. get rid of all the hater's and trolls before they start to release all the good stuff :P

No I'm busy studying and looking for a job right now so I can't play games much, FFXIV is the only online game I'm playing right now.
And first thing I want to say is I'm a fan of Final Fantasy franchise and SE, I will play any FF or SE game on any platform (but can finish any of them lol), and the reason I could go to r50 because I had friends here playing with me and I shared alot of good time with them, but now most of my friends left the game (even before I reach r50) and after my main job reach 50 I felt kind of empty, after the 1.19 out I was excited at first but now I'm bored again, there's not that much things to do now.
Who says we do? I only log in once a month to check out the changes and log off again. If they manage to keep what they promised this time, they'll have me back - eventually.
I might pay on and off inbetween but only if it's not the full price, the game is not worth it's full price to me and I don't want to invest into SE and risk getting screwed over like they did it with FFXIV. I hope the initial failure of FFXIV was a hard enough slap in their face to make things right this time and listen to the community when it says the game is not ready for release yet, like we did in alpha/beta.

same, but that is what mmorpg is friends you made will soon gone, and you make new friends again, is what mmorpg is all about. I'm sticking with my new friends that are on the same thinking as me that want to stay to see Eorzea 1.2X till it's end.No I'm busy studying and looking for a job right now so I can't play games much, FFXIV is the only online game I'm playing right now.

Well I want to stay too but my circumstances just don't allow me too, I don't have much time to play (only few hours a week), I'm busy looking for a job, my economy is not very good and etc...
But I will definitely play the 2.0.
