What is the definition of 'right away'? At what point would you think something isn't being done about them? A few hours? A day? A few days? How about a week? I'm currently at a week with nothing being done.
You're probably going to be waiting around 2 months just to see if anything is done to them, the process is extremely slow.
Some people I've observed doing it for multiple years and still do. When they aren't around to play, character gets put into bot routines to farm this and that. Gathering, fates, MGP/card. This on their main characters where a lot of real progress has also been done through normal play when they are at the computer. I'm not doing any reporting for bots at the moment since no action is taken.
You might want to reword this.... sounds like an admission of bot use
Try 1-2 years and counting.
That's how long some bots/speedhackers have been around and still playing after being reported by multiple people. I'm not talking vague either, very obvious bots.
I have actually played a F2P MMO that had ingame botting program but reason why it was there was extreme nature of grinding in it so it was kinda must have.
To me, it sounded like he reported a bot a week ago and still has not seen anything done to that bot. I've heard of people who have reported bots for months, and still have not seen anything done after more than a year.
SE takes a *very* long time dealing with non-RMT advertising bots.
I dont see the logic behind the argumentation though - why does "nothing gets done" should equal "lets just allow it all together"? With that change of the ToS they couldnt even do anything anymore even if they wanted to (and had the time and ressource to check it). I dont understand why you conclude "Hey, nothing gets done, lets just make it legal!"
The short answer is : No.
The long answer is : Um, no. Thats stupid and you should feel bad for even suggesting it. No. No. No. And no.
Why not just play a game where botting is ingrained in game? They exist you know. One of which literally gives you exp for idling in town. And with all these games I don't ever recall RMT activity.
