Some will laugh at me, but I'm worried that PLD will lose Stoneskin.

Beginner's Overview to Tanking in FFXIV: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/352455

The devs dropped PS3 support because they felt like the population using it was low enough that dropping support would not affect subs too much. The expansion is still 7-8 months away, that is enough time for people to find workarounds to play the game. Couple this with an influx of new/returning players and it shouldn't affect your server too much.My Biggest fear is how Empty servers like Goblin (almost dead) will be after SE drop PS3 Suport, The game already lose players everyday, almost impossible to recruit players to our FC, and recent patchs had fail to bring anyone back. New 3.5 PF may help a bit but in the end is just a mesure to engage the lack of players on many servers.
Stoneskin?? I'm worried that PLD will lose protect and raise

They announce Gunblade Job will be NPC exclusive forever!!!

Scared to death that RDM (my favorite job) will be tank. DPS or healer and I don't mind as I like to do those....but after strictly tanking for a static for 2 years prior to splitting up, I am awfully sick of it.
Also, as others have stated, tomestone grinding > gear > catch up > tomestone grinding > gear > catch up cycle being repeated for the next few years :'(((((((((

A brand new way to play monk. When 2.0 dropped, i had to relearn it since the controller(on a PC) options i knew previously made me cross my fingers in 2.0. So I changed to keyboard. I don't want to relearn the only job I'm semi-ok at.

Matoya: And that should give you a notion of how sick and tired I was of those spineless wretches of the Forum. All talk and no trousers, that lot.

Biggest fear? As much as I'm excited about the skills reworking, I am also worried about it. I am very comfortable with the way I play my main jobs, so I am worried about them reworking skills so much that they either take away from, or change the job.
BRD getting Wanderer's Minuet bothered me for, like, maybe one level. After that, I got used to it. Granted, I wasn't playing since 2.0 or beta or anything, but still. It wasn't that huge of a deal. And I feel like the minority when I say that I am perfectly happy with it staying. But I know some of my FC and LS friends were speculating about the new skills rework, and were talking about how certain jobs may not be able to borrow from the same jobs anymore, and the thought of losing my Internal Release and Blood for Blood on BRD is just... D: Please no! Also, they were talking about something mentioned during an interview with new bars to watch being added? I don't remember because I was only halfway paying attention to the discussion but... really? Adding more bars to clog up my HUD?
I'm also worried about the devs keeping the current patch set-up: 2 Expert dungeons, one that pops more frequently than the other, that people get burnt out on really quickly. Tome grinding. A new 8-man raid with a subpar story (please, make a new raid with a story to rival Coil's! Alex was just meh in comparison). Gear becoming useless after 1-2 patches. I'm worried about things staying the way they are now (but, it seems, I'm also afraid of a little change as well!).

Personally, I'm afraid of further homogenization of classes. I know the classes play differently, but if the first glance of a particular ranged dps is 'They all have to sit there and charge and the only thing different is a weapon skin', then something is inherently wrong. Tanks feel the same, ranged dps feel samey, and melee almost went that route too in 3.x.
Can't they at least feel different from a viewing perspective?

The ranged dpsing feeling the same is further propelled by the added cast times...we're all casters now basically.Personally, I'm afraid of further homogenization of classes. Friend/recruitment code for special items and things (use before paying first sub) RACN78W5 (updated) info on items here http://sqex.to/Cz9 code is entered via the mogstation.
You mean like
Platinum ore, Raziqsap, platinum ingots, shroud tea leves, cobalt ore, ferberite,... right now? They skyrocket...
And well, in the end I spent about 10 millions to put 2 jobs of my alt in full 250 crafted gear.
Made them back in less than a week by desynthing all those cheap PotD stuff and selling a few of those outdated things (either platinum ingots or demi3)...
As soon as wootz ingots get a new use, hehe, I've stacked 99+ by now (it's the 'trash' desynth item right now, but well, did you watch them when the crafted coil stuff was added?).
They'll never keep all items relevant for infinite ammount of time. But saving (by now) 'useless' items made me more millions (and I have only 2 retainers and limited space for that) than I ever imagined. Because those items can return whenever they want them to.

That the endgame raid won't have 2 modes like it does now.
