Cait Sith Plush and in-game reward

It's definitely not cuddly like the moogles or carbuncles but it's pretty nicely made. TBH the in-game ears are pretty ugly so if I weren't the first person to get it that I know I probably wouldn't have as the doll is kind of creepy imo. (and I am someone that likes "creepy" dolls lol)

I have purchased quite few of them for the in game items, no interest in a toy.
I wouldn't say they are outstanding. They are a typical plushie.

About the Toy: I would like to know how they produce it, it looks like handmade, but we dont know how... For Japan its not common to rely on china industry, thats why it may be that expensive! Still, i dont say they are paying their workers fair *sigh*

Looks pretty awful. But if people keep buying these poor quality products for the ridiculously overpriced price points you're only encouraging SE to continue selling poor quality products for outrageous prices.

$30+ bucks for a crappy stuffed cat doll is ridiculous regardless of what it's related to. I could sew and ship you that thing and make it look better for less than $5. Stop buying bad products for bad prices and maybe you'll start getting quality.

To be fair: Most, if not all of SE plush products are NOT crappy stuffed.
Compared to other products, those from SE are mostly very well stuffed with a lot filling material - its a sign of good quality!
Even when the seam looks poor, none of the stuffed products from SE are damaged - other Products the seam will open or rip after a week!
Still, the design is something i dont like... I like something as in the picture above!

I would also like to add that at the same time I own a really expensive plush by Blizzard, more accurately their Zergling/Baneling plush which I twisted like two times and the baneling green blob broke. Also the zergling's legs are not filled properly so one part is skinnier than the other. Cith Saith's fur also feels a lot more soft and just... The whole plushie seems like there's been a lot of effort put it in it. I mean sure, the stitches might not be by hand, but they are straight and correct (important detail).

I think they gave him the kind of stitched up look so that it'd vaguely resemble Lulu's moogle doll from FF X. They used the same design for the moogle doll in FF VII AC and have done something similar for the moogle doll in FF XV

Personally I'm not a fan or the look.

From Synrin's pictures the finished product looks great. I'm confused on why the tail appears to be made of a different material but, nothing else sticks out as not being what the promo picture promised. It's hard to really differentiate plush as hand made or machine made, because there's finishing work and top detail that can only be done by hand even if the seam work and applique were applied by machine. So unless the entire thing was hand stitched it's always going to be a mix of hand and machine work.

I have this plush. Its my favourite plush of the ones I own. I have chocobo chick, moogle, cait sith, and blue carbuncle.

Cait sith is smaller than I expected - but its actually a really great make, and looks really good.

The most dissapointing one is the chocobo chick. It looks terrible and bland irl.

I bought the plush at fanfest knowing that I don't really care about the in-game item, I just thought the plush was adorable even though it was expensive. That and the fat cat. So yeah I like the plush the way that it is.

I actually want the choco-chick's in game item but its soooo ugly that I haven't purchased it.

Yo, where did you buy this from? I can't find any shops shipping this, btw does it have the same issue as the carbuncle where under high temperate the fur becomes very unpleasant? My carbuncle skin kinda has this white spots after exposure to the sun, sigh.

That is SE's official europian merch site. There should be one (site) for every region I think, just gotta find it via SE's website. I got mine yesterday so I can't really compare it to the carbuncle, as I don't even have the carbuncle.
