Something that made me cry so much:

A10N, playing on ninja after shelving it a few months back. The group has a warrior; okay, no problemo. I do my normal rotation keeping warrior in mind when I notice - where's the Storm's Eye? I do a full rotation, up to refreshing Huton and go, okay, they're maintaining Storm's Path; they want to play it safe. I've got no problems with that and I Dancing Edge. One combination later, Storm's Eye goes up.

Okay, they put up Storm's Eye. I can get my better DPS rotation going. I do it - where's the Storm's Eye? I do another full rotation, freshing Huton. There's no Storm's Path either. We get to about 30% and we wipe for reasons, namely someone triggered the spike trap and neither healers noticed, so they both got squished.

I ask the tank to please maintain Storm's Eye if they place it up, otherwise, please allow me to just keep Dancing Edge up. No response; and I wasn't being rude. I really did ask that almost word for word, but said in in the form of a question. I put up Dancing Edge since they made no acknowledgement. One combination later, Storm's Eye goes up. I watch it and do Shadow Fang combination, Mutiliation and Armor Crush combination. I do the better DPS rotation - no Storm's Eye. I finally sigh and decide, whether or not its true, I'm being trolled by the warrior.

From this point on, I maintain Dancing Edge, despite it being a DPS loss for me. Every two global cooldowns later, Storm's Eye is placed up. I have to say, as a ninja, this is really annoying. I don't mind maintaining Dancing Edge or the warrior maintaining Storm's Eye. I do mind being forced to play at less than my best because of a troll or someone who just doesn't care.

I just did a Guildhest with Selli Noblesse. o_o I didn't even notice until right at the very end.

I was the shitting DRK tank in "Long Live the Queen".

RF story. Wiped twice in A9S, some of us new (if not all). MT died both times and it spiraled out of control. Far as I could see, main healer needed mana for the raises and used a macro asking the bard. Bard got a bit uppity and... chaos ensued. People getting mad at each other and I think the SMN even trolling us with acid rain.

In short healers.... don't DPS too much where the MT dies while the off healer is addressing adds then say "But I honestly feel like im playing with children with an attitude". Yes things went sideways but if you would heal you wouldn't need to res. Cheers for wasting 45mins of queue time before maintenance... I don't know the full story (was focusing on DPSing and mechanics), but this is the 2nd time I've seen them and the first time we had the same problem of our MT dying for no reason. That only happens if they are derping to mechanics or are ignored for a long time...

I've been playing Paladin more the past couple of weeks, but something felt off and I just couldn't put my finger on it. I had my stances, I had my combos, but there was something missing I just knew it. Then I ran PotD 1-10 to try and get some armor points. I'm 15/4, so I jumped in. At level two I learned Rampart. Couldn't find it anywhere. I didn't have Rampart on my hotbar.

I just want to say that it is not wrong to be informative to other players.

Large pulls? Inform healer. (My healer friend has a maccro telling tanks not to worry about large pulls)
Any class missing their stance? Remind them, they might have done leveling or trials and forgot to turn it back on.
WAR not using storms eye, BRD not singing Foe, NIN not giving Goad, and you want them to? Ask them nicely.

My NIN friend tells tanks that he will give them 'Shadewalker' at bosses and tanks acctually repond to that

In most cases they might ignore you completely, few might acctually respond

I had this hilarious Temple of Qarn normal run; the level 34 one.

We had a new tank and he couldn't keep hate on much of anything, but I still healed everyone as best as I could (BLM and MNK each died once because tank chased after the head that shows up while aggroing 3 mobs and he just left it on us lol so they rekt both of them pretty quick before I could heal since I was in the back and wasn't expecting the tank to run away like that).

Whole dungeon even with hate issues I did extra healer DPS to help out as often as I was able to. I couldn't do as much as I usually do because tank not keeping hate means the MNK or BLM or myself was tanking up to 2 monsters sometimes and since we aren't tanks its just too squishy so I have to heal more often.

The tank pulls the Doom boss immediately when we get there so I didn't have time to explain the doom mechanic. As you figure the tank dies to doom so from about 50% HP to dead I tanked that boss with regen on myself and curing even while throwing in some DPS when I could. We clear it while the tank watches from the barrier and I quickly explain after for the future how he has to do the mechanic if he ends up in here again.

We get to the end with me throwing the tank a few tips here and there (just to use flash a few more times when he pulls) and I helped out explaining mechanics like to kill the head on the square etc. At the end the MNK tells the PLD " tank use shield oath" and well since the tank is new I quickly correct him that the tank does not have shield oath at this level since it is sync'd to 37 and shield oath is level 40. I didn't want the tank to get confused so I figured correcting the MNK would be the best course of action.

Final boss fight starts and I pop Cleric and DPS some. I also keep Cleric on and DPS the small heads that spawn and kill them on the square so the rest of the group can ignore that mechanic. Not long after this though the MNK takes hate on boss and the tank can't seem to get hate back. So I stop DPSing cause he is taking high damage to the face.

Eventually the adds come out that lock you in and they explode so I helped out killing them because the MNK wasn't going into them at all...but during this he pops Blood for Blood.....I sighed. I tried to heal him in time but the boss smashed his face for half his HP and then the other add exploded because no one killed it so MNK goes down and I Swift Raise him and tank has hate again so the rest of the fight goes a bit smoother.

We beat it and you know what the MNK says to me after spending almost an hour in this dungeon doing everything I can to help the run succeed and go as smooth as it possibly can considering the circumstances?

MNK: You need to learn when you can DPS
MNK: healers need to DPS
MNK: healers need to DPS (yeah he said it twice for some reason lol)
Me: I had Cleric on half the run
MNK: NOPE never saw cleric
MNK: NOPE
MNK: I see you standing around doing nothing
Me: LOL I don't think you know what Cleric Stance looks like....

I then walked over to him turned Cleric on and then left the dungeon. I mean I could have pointed out all the wrong things he did like killing the head not on the square twice (and he wasn't even the new player), and the fact that he used BLOOD FOR BLOOD while tanking the boss, didn't help with any mechanics, told the tank to use an ability he doesn't even have, pulled extra mobs for the tank when he can't even keep hate on one pull, and also the fact that a healer cannot DPS as much if the tank is not the one tanking. I doubt there would be any gain to pointing this out to someone so oblivious though....

Maybe he was just mad cause I caught him with his pants down about shield oath and he thinks he is hot stuff lol? Or maybe just a fail troll? lol no idea. For giggles I filtered my log and I used Cleric Stance 41 times lol it is so funny when people think they see everything that is going on but in reality they don't know anything.

I remember when Void Ark first dropped on patch day my Alliance got to the room where you have to kill the moths and stuff, and we realized nobody was healing our party. We wiped pretty fast, and started pressing the two healers on what the hell they were doing.

Healer #1: "I wanted to DPS"
Healer #2: "I got locked out because I left to go take a dump and then it got all constipated"
