I understand what you're saying, but I feel for every 1 piece of well thought out and reasoned feedback or suggestion, there's probably 100 pieces of utter garbage. Quite the conundrum.

This is why you have a community manager and a team under them. They can sort the good ideas from the noise. It isn't like the devs, instead of developing, read through every suggestion.

This is true of any major game: a team serves as a middleman to relay info/ideas to the dev team who then makes the final call.

I think the OP is talking more towards the "fluff" demands moreso than the mechanical/balance demands.
