Emperor's new Star Globe would also make the cards invisible.

Emperor's new Star Globe would also make the cards invisible.

I''m gonna have to throw the book at Square Enix on this one... We have glamour, we have tanks tanking in bikinis... realism already went out the window lol.
EDIT: Just had another idea. SE have already made glamour work in one cutscene, whereby your gear is automatically glamoured into something else (no matter what you have on at the time). Perhaps they could implement an anti-glamour system into all cutscenes, probably without too much extra work. That way we can keep our realism on the story perspective, but also be able to wear what we want.

White Mage ~ Sage ~ AstrologianBoi if you got kicked for the same thing in over 20 duties I strongly suggest you think hard on whatever the hell it is you're doing
As I'm sure you are well aware, it takes more than one person to be able to kick a player from a duty, so in all those instances there were at least two people agreeing they'd be better off without you tanking.
Emperor's new thread, so we will never have to see such things on the forums.

I'd like this idea. Nice to see other people posting their requests not paying any attention to this one, typical. The shield thing btw could've easily been settled by making a wrist plate which covers the arm with a thin shielding. Why they didn't do this, well they're lazy. The fact of the matter is, players want to hit things with their fists as a monk class. These extra fist crap look annoying at times and just flat out ugly. They know we want a plain swordsman class, but we're stuck with the shield. Save yourselves the trouble and allow it. make us do different actions with the sword to do some skills or something or the bare minimum (like you always do) and just make it look the same but an invisible shield. Hell, make blm shoot magic out their hands, whm could be tricky but if they bothered with it it could work.I was wondering if it would be possible to have an Emperor's new starglobe for Astrologian like how monks have a invisible fist.

It would be really cool to have just the cards floating instead of the globe and cards since it would almost make you feel like past final fantasy characters like Seltzer!

Now spears, axes, bows, machinists and ninjas sound super unlikely because it wouldn't make any sense. I mean summoners could use their feather to write spells in mid air since it magic so they can summon a carbuncle. monks use fists. Shields block, but you can block with just about anything. Anyone requesting these need to elaborate how this would work, otherwise your just a troll to me. Thats all i have on this.

I wish I could find the reddit link, but somebody did post images of an AST glitch where the star globe was invisible, except the cards. It actually looked nice seeing most of the animations without the star globe.
I don't really get the argument they make on not being able to do certain skills without a shield when the prism itself just casts the illusion of another item on it. In this case making our weapon invisible but yet it is still there. Then of course come the people who say it would look silly or stupid, then someone will reply about bikini tanks.

Meanwhile, Snowmen chilling out during Ifrit...
They could just use their arms to block all teh thingz.
You win post of the day. I am dying.

I'd love the ability to hide the waist sheath at least....
It really doesn't serve much purpose... the cards are already floating around the globe, and it's way too large for the amount of cards we have available....
Plus, we can't 'spread' that many anyway.... Just the one card.
