Wow, Azureos.... your stuff is really great!
What do you do to measure perspective? I'm really terrible at it and I need practice. =\

if you search well you can find a lot of stuff to learn on internet
There are a lot of book too
Andrew Loomis - Figure Drawing For All It's Worth
Bridgman's Complete Guide To Drawing From Life
On Drawing Trees and Nature. A Classic Victorian Manual with Lessons and Examples
Perspective - A Guide for Artists, Architects and Designers (Gwen White)
the matter in the beginning is to see the volume of what you draw to see the globality of your character. Not drawing a hand and an arms and so on . you have to draw the entire character in the same time. It seems quite a mess when told like that.
If you want to train you really have to draw what you see in real life first.Sorry i can t tell you more to help you
Eventhough i m just an average drawer i ll put some drawing with different step in the futur so you could see what i m talking about
(sorry if there are english mistakes i m french^^)
haha Irie, that is a great picture, much love for the mandragoras!
and Shelia thank you for the feedback =)
also, Azureos! those are amazing sketches, very clean lines, and spot on perspectives/proportion. I hope you keep making more in the future
and a quick contribution from me, just finished yesterday. Trying to get more action! into my poses and trying to fit an entire figure on the paper lol so heres a female marauder inspired piece, because I like the small torso, huge arm/legs look

and here it is after a 20 minute coloring job! I will give it more attention eventually, just soooo time consuming

I don't understand DA links yet, soo I hope those work until I find a better way.
some cool stuff here, I hope it keeps comin =) this thread is getting buried fast! these forums are hopping, and no dedicated fanart section (yet, hopefully)
Eee... thanks for the tips, Azureos~
I'm glad people keep posting. I was scared this thread would never see the light of day again after like two posts. > 0>

I made a picture of my FFXIV character for my sig 2 days ago, and as you can see from my sig, not much of it made it in unless I were to be obnoxious and make a vertically long sig. Heh. Anyway, here is a resized version of the full picture. At least I can post it somewhere.
<<<Full picture>>>
hey hey ! this looks good ! ^^
Did this back during open beta... (the bg's totally half-assed)

I like the lighting and pose a lot, Chrome... but I can't tell what race she is. D:
Cute stuff, Obsy! I like the faces.
