Lol starting to bill us in November for this game..

One fun fact ive noticed on this forum so far, is that the ones who usually complains, has 2500-3000+ posts, while majority of the ones whos positive to the game has around 500posts at most.

Just makes me think, people who has 3000+posts are playing on the FFXIV forums instead of the actual game, while the low posters are ingame having fun

yes...for the year. then when it comes time for 2.0 all those raged people who didnt play and got into something else, or are angry at this kind of ...stupidity i guess we'll call it... wont take a second look.

need to think about the future consequences and not just the "now".

You forgot about FFXIV.

FFXIV was not an overhyped MMO unlike the ones I posted. I had never heard of it until I bought my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and the trailer for FFXIV was on it. Thats the key difference. Plus I think FFXIV has gone from being bad to a really fun way to spend my free time.

lol at all you people defending the charges saying you want to support the game. You supported it by buying it, and the game tanked. Sure I'll pay, but not until 2.0, and we'll see where it goes. The game isn't complete. I don't pay the restaurant for a burger when all they give me is hamburger meat. Some of you people love this game as is, and that is cool, however, obviously if your tastes were the norm, we'd be paying already. The minority of players in the MMO market do not share the mindset of FFXIV players right now. Thats a fact that precious few on this forum will ever understand.

Changes look great, we'll see how it plays out.

those people who raged and quit woulda raged and quit a year from now too at p2p

and after they rage at the end of this year, they will have raged quit 3 other MMOs by the time next year comes around, hell, they are more likely to come back if anything

from rage...no. As you can plainly see there are PLENTY of people who refuse to pay now, but are all for the 2.0 times and paying for that...for obvious reasons. Its that big chunk that SE will feel the sting from. regular rage quiters swap MMOs like they always have, im talking about your current players who think the game is just not up to snuff to pay for right now. When even yoshi says the game is only 50% done to being where he thinks its exceptable, then its obvious charging now is not ideal.

Just because you didn't hear about it does not mean it was not hyped to hell, which it was in my circle of community. I have personally hyped the shit out of this game to all my friends up until release just to look like an idiot because the game sucked so bad.

I'm with the op on this it's a rip off, they've put in one patch split into two over the course of a year they claim which is really 6 months because they took a long time to switch teams. These/this patch(es) have not resolved any core issues such a lag and an no functionality (i.e: mail system, ah party search, ls features). they only tweaked the combat very little (and made it even clunkier in my opinion with the removal of the que system) and added in two high end raids. wow look at all the value two whole raids and no basic features huzzah ffxiv is saved lets all pay up now.

the developers are so out of touch;

1. bring back the que system; your game lags and it's international.
2. implement the color change system like the community wanted not the stat altering crap you gave us; we don't want to look like red clones or rainbows selecting the best pieces.
3. add the missing basic features all your competitors have like ah, mail, no lag between actions that the community has been screaming for since day one.
4. add in more then 2 rank 50 raids.
5. start charging.
6. make profit.

as you can see they skipped number 1-4.

edit: hell they havn't even fixed cul,alc, and gs yet.
