Here, fixed it for you. Its okay that you dont like PvP, you dont have to. Get to terms with not getting the rewards tied to PvP though when you dont do that content. There are people here enjoy that, let them keep good and cool rewards too and stop being so self-centered and jealous, please...

Please accept that there are people that don't lie PvP and don't want to see good stuff wasted in it.

Personally, i haven't found a single item as PvP reward that I would be interested in and the red Fenrir mount is no exception. Therefore jealousy is not a valid argument here. These kind of things should be put as reward for content that is played and preferbly enjoyed by the majority of players.

I guarantee you PvP is not that kind of content. No matter where they put it in the end, people will complain.

I am fine with it being in the cash shop though there are better options. How about the X-mas Event?

I'm not sure how this thread suddenly turned into a anti PvP mount exclusive thread. I'm pretty dang certain red fenrir is a cash shop mount that has yet to be released. I'm pretty sure he is being delayed so SE can space out its mog station mount releases. It's been a very fun thread so far though

I do accept that, dont worry - as I accept that there is other content giving out rewards aswell that wont be enjoyed by the majority. Raids are another good example, seeing how Alexander is giving you two (or even three?) mounts and exclusive minions.

Saying "I cant get something because I dont like doing that content" isnt a really good argument for the devs not to put it in there. Quite the contartry, actually: Putting interesting rewards into PvP migth attract more people to try that sort of content. Sorry to break this to you, but they wont drop it. As much as they wont drop savage raids or hardcore fishing even though thats not enjoyed by the majority of people. And they shouldnt, because thats only going to limit the options and content we'll get! heck, judging from the forums all they would have to add for the majority is a bunch of cute looking dresses and hairstyles every few weeks to keep people entertained. Maybe "gated" by killing ten mobs in a row, but with a guranteed drop afterwards!

This game can offer a lot of different and diverse content - not everyone as to enjoy everything. But NOT adding cool rewards for one type of content because the avarage casual player doesnt enjoy that, is wrong, unfair and a slap into the face of everyone who is involved into that content. Somethings are meant to be special rewards and thats something we should all be okay with...
and spending money on the cash shop is really not something you should be reward for...

Raids are another good example, seeing how Alexander is giving you two (or even three?) mounts and exclusive minions.

Regarding PVP mounts vs raid mounts: Anyone can technically get any raid mount - even if they are not a raider. They can pay gil for clears and drops. With PVP, non-PVPers cannot pay someone (legally) to get them top ranked in solo for a limited mount.

With that said, I'm not against PVP exclusive mounts, even though I do not PVP, nor do I intend to start.

*explodes* ...Ahem.. Well this has to be a first for someone begging for something to go into the Cash Shop instead of the game. Absolutely boggles the mind. The only thing that says to me is they're lazy or they have FAR too much cash to burn.

How else would they get recolours of mounts that take hundreds of hours, extreme luck or the ability to save and a little luck to obtain in game? Putting in effort is too much trouble.

In all seriousness, if the Fenrir is every released it should be either another 1million MGP reward or something equally difficult to obtain like 100-500 potsherds. I'm sure raiders wouldn't love having a recoloured A12S mount on the cash shop now, I don't see why other mounts should be treated any less. I've already figured that it's going to be a cash shop mount, but it would be nice if that wasn't the case.

I see a lot of you would prefer to have the Red Fenrir on the cash shop, but have any of you others who are against it ever wonder why?
Its because if it is obtainable in any in-game manner such as PvP, then you can expect a horrible and convoluted mess of a grind that would have you doing something you like to the point where you hate it to no end once you actually get your prize. And if it drops on PvP, then you can bet a lot of people are going to just up and say "nope" since PvP is not good in either the fun factor nor the rewards department.

So yes, I would prefer the mount be obtained by cash shop than have it drop in the game as a reward for some nightmarish grind.

The exact same people demanding such items to be added to the cash shop will - in many cases - get bored of it rather quickly and then never use it again. Largely because any mount added to the cash shop ceases to be special - since so many people get them and use them the moment it goes live on the store.

It's essentially the 'but I want it now' mentality in play. Then as soon as the novelty wears off the toys will be discarded and the demand for something else to be added will begin.
