Can't say much for Blue Mage, but Red Mage seems to be hinted at either Alisae or another Sharlayan teaching us (as it most likely is more then mere coincidence that Alisae would use a new sword-stance when she fights alongside us AND we get a 99% confirmation of Red Mage coming in 4.0 from Yoshida.)

Personally I've envisioned atleast 30-50 Red Mage being the WoL themselves starting out on their own with no tutor beyond what they have learned of White and Black magic, as well as either Gladiator/Paladin or Dark Knight training (that they specifically showed off Dark Knight alongside White Mage and Black Mage new gear at Fanfest is why I think it might connected instead of Gld/Pld.)

As far as the woman from the trailer: From what I read here on the forums Yda indeed has a sister, and given that the woman looks similar to her it probably is her. Would even give good reason for why she is so important from the get-go yet not introduced yet. She also PROBABLY is a Monk simply because we don't have any good confirmations for what other jobs there will be beyond Red Mage. Though that does not mean Dancer won't be a thing either.

Well my first thought was that we weren't going to get a Rhalgr Primal because it would be too similar to Ramuh. My second thought was that there might be a connection betewwn Rhalgr and Ramuh.

Some scholars even go so far as to claim that he and Rhalgr are one and the same, pointing to the Destroyer's command over lightning as evidence of this theory."

The vocals starting at 1:55 of the video is also similar to the beginning of Ramuh's theme. Though I figured that was just a coincidence until the lore book entry about him.

My thoughts exactly. Either way I'm fine with Blue Mage coming from Ala Mhigo since it's aesthetic design changed from a (masked) cavalier to a west Asian/middle eastern garb in FFXI which the version of Blue Mage people seem to remember the most. I can't see why not they'd make it fit to Ala Mhigo's kind-of south/southeast Asian style as well but yeah Ala Mhigo doesn't have much of a magic background.

For Red Mage however, it just fits very well as a Sharlayan job. They can use both black and white magic which something they're known for, with versatility in weapons being a bonus. Both Black and White magic are forbidden arts but I suppose it wouldn't really stop the Sharlayans into experimenting with both to create a new art. I can't really see it being Ala Mhigan at all.

And another thing, Dancer might either be Thavnairian which I highly expect it to be, or Ala Mhigan.

Not so sure about Alisaie. It seems like it was only a technique she learned, and that she summoned an aethereal sword like it was her familiar. To me it just meant that you can summon anything other than carbuncles as an Arcanist. There's also been a few unique combat stances from NPCs like Regula.
Still, I do not doubt that Red Mage will happen, and would use a rapier as its weapon. Maybe use it as a sort of wand, too.

I hope for this upcoming expansion that Alphinaud takes a back seat and we get a different travel companion, not to say I hate him or anything like that but I wanna see one of the scions take a major role in this expansion.

Just for a split second in the trailer the red fighter does the monk pose from the concept art. Just a funny observation.
